The Attorney General of the United States just opened an investigation into the Command Staff of the Portland Police for refusing to enforce the laws over ICE protests in Oregon.
Chicago is next - following the shooting of an armed offender who was involved in a mass ramming of ICE vehicles, this went out over the PDTs:
“NO UNITS WILL REPOND TO THIS…”

Police are not obligated to stop crimes in progress. They are secretaries who can — if they choose — show up afterwards and take notes.
The Fed should declare martial law in Chicago, and immediately begin planning new, fair elections. I do not make this recommendation lightly, but it seems that this is where we’re at.
I wish them the best of luck next time they want federal funds for ANYTHING.

Second City Cop is an excellent source of information about what’s really going on in Chicago. But I think they’re wrong about one thing.
In their post, they say if Chicago continues along that path, the Democrats will “lose the next two decades worth of elections”.
I admire that optimism. But all Chicago will be getting is more of what they have now. Different names, but the same incompetence and corruption.

No, Trump can not federalize a local police force. He can deputize them individually, but they would have to volunteer. Of course, volunteering would make the local police officers no longer police officers and they would lose pay, benefits and their pension.
Same in Portland, the cops are just standing there doing NOTHING because in Portland Antifa and the cops are ONE..same with the government officials over there, EVERYONE does Antifa’s bidding
