In the wake of the horrific mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, where two young children were gunned down and 17 others wounded during a school Mass, CNN anchor Jake Tapper has sparked outrage by focusing on the “correct” pronouns for the deranged transgender shooter. The depraved male shooter was born Robert Paul Westman but legally changed his name to Robin M. Westman in 2020 and began identifying as “female.”
On Wednesday, he opened fire from outside the church windows, targeting helpless children and parishioners inside. Westman, 23, later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities recovered a manifesto and videos where the shooter expressed suicidal ideation, obsession with past mass killings, and inscribed gun magazines with vile messages like “Kill Donald Trump” and “Where is your God?”
Following the attack, Tapper took time during his broadcast to lecture viewers on respecting the shooter’s gender identity and preferred name.

The decent into political chaos began with the 1973 decision by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) to remove homosexuality as a mental disorder from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM). The decision by psychiatry led the way for choosing to relinquish attempts at scientific rigor and instead sought popular societal and political acclaim. The DSM became a refuge for treatments accommodating social contagions, promoting drug marketing strategies, and for posting political manifestos. The remaining true science in the document simply became an inert medium for these active ingredients. This approach carried over into other sexual disorders and has allowed medical doctors as well to consider progressive/liberal ideological theories of social justice (?) as true science and serve as a priority for choosing diagnosis and treatment.
