A total of eight people were shot after a party in downtown Los Angeles overnight, and police say two of them are dead.
The shooting took place around 1 a.m. Monday in the area of East 14th Place and Paloma Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The address provided by authorities is located in an industrial zone just north of the 10 Freeway.
LAPD officers had previously been in the area around 11 p.m. Sunday to shut a party down, but it wasn’t immediately clear whether the gathering of people early Monday was connected to the earlier party that was shut down. One person was detained for possessing a firearm during that interaction, authorities said.

Youtube guy called Active Self Protection discusses shooting videos and what one can learn.
One of his sayings is don’t be out at stupid times and stupid places doing stupid things around stupid people. One can usually get away with doing one of those, but not two or more.
Some cultures celebrate birth and some celebrate death.

....I do not want to appear to be crass and uncaring, but looking at a related video on YouTube, I note that everyone at that party seemed to be of one ethnic persuasion....they kill each other with no qualms whatsoever, but in the looooong run....it is still the white man’s fault....
