"The Network" in the Worlds of the Elites

Is there something about liberal elite networks, you should understand?

Because I spent decades in the same elite liberal circles that sheltered Epstein, I am not puzzled. I think I understand the matrix of this situation.

I also believe that there are make-or-break tech bro Trump supporters on the list, because of a moving interview given by Eric Weinstein on July 14, 2025— interestingly, in the midst of the Bondi furor — to Steven Bartlett, on the “Diary of a CEO” podcast.

Indeed, Harvard was an avid matchmaker for Epstein among the scientific and mathematics community. Harvard accepted about $9 million from Jeffery Epstein, and gave him an office in the institute that he helped to fund. Epstein visited Harvard more than 40 times.

Key Harvard academics were brought to him by connectors in the university, and encouraged to socialize with him. “Some [Harvard] professors beyond [mathematics professor Martin Nowak] appear to have enjoyed close ties with Epstein, the [Harvard] review found. The report says "a number" of faculty members visited Epstein at his homes in New York, Florida, New Mexico and the Virgin Islands. [Italics mine]. Some said they visited him in jail or took trips on his planes. The visits were done in a personal capacity, the report said, and do not appear to violate Harvard rules.”

Her analysis hints at what is happening but does not go all the way there.

Who is interested in gathering intelligence on the brightest minds in the world?

Intelligence agencies.

(Btw I agree with the “dual use” analysis.)

My view from day one was that the administration should have said as little as possible about the Epstein matter—but to the extent they said anything they should have said there were delicate national security interests involved—which there almost certainly were—and are.

There was no reason to ever declare the case closed—”We are working on it” would have been fine.

No drama needed.

It may mean that innocent people as well as guilty — major scientists and major technologists, perhaps — may have been set up or enmeshed in circumstances that they now fear coming to light, whether they did nothing wrong at all, or whether they did something wrong.>>> they hung out with a sex trafficker. I learned long ago not to do that kind of thing. It’s called integrity. And now let the chips fall where they may. If you hang around scum don’t be surprised if you get some on you.

Pam Bondi is not the sharpest knife .
I have no idea why she was picked .
Dragging back that MS 13 gangster from El Salvador is exhibit 1 .

Bondi misspoke and created this over the top ridiculous Dem and Dem media attack .

To simplify: Even the uppermost of the upper crust elites are as juvenile and ruthless as teenagers about being in the cool gang.

Never forget that Epstein tried for years to get involved with every rich person possible to glorify himself and get investments for his projects. Nothing wrong with this. Nothing at all. That is where ALL the piccies come from .

But, what counts in terms of his atrocities are the number of folks who went repeatedly to the Island. All will say that they did so as part of business. Uhh, yeah, we are all familiar with that scam. E.g., your lawyer goes to an expensive restaurant and talks business for 5 minutes so he can bill you for the tab.

I wonder how many of these Hollywood folk going after Trump on Epstein, once heaped praise on Harvey Weinstein?

Oligarchy: where a few absolute perverts run the government for the cerebral benefit of the people...that supply their perversion.

Remember how hard it was for Trump to get a lawyer in some of his cases? Remember what happened with his last two attorneys general? Bondi was (somewhat) loyal and had some experience, so she got the job.
