President Trump told reporters on Friday that Barack Obama owes him “big” for the Supreme Court’s decision that Presidential Immunity applies to the former President after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard found evidence that Obama fabricatied and led the Russia Collusion hoax to sabotage then-President Elect Trump in 2016.
.... Snip....
Trump responded on Friday, signaling that Obama committed crimes, but may be safe. “He’s done criminal acts, there’s no question about it, but he has immunity,” Trump said.
“But it doesn’t help the people around him at all.”
“He owes me big. Obama owes me big!” the President added.

Sedition, conspiracy and treason are not “official acts”.
Someone should explain the SCOTUS holding to the big guy.
Prosecute ALL of Obama’s thugs and make them sing like canaries, make them reveal that it was Obama’s plan B all along..We all know that Obama orchestrated it I would be thrilled to see Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Rice, Jarrett, all of them behind bars..Obama would be icing on the cake though
Let me put it in your hand, Ash.
The Supreme Court ruled that former presidents have broad immunity from prosecution for their “official acts” while in office. This decision, in the case of Trump v. United States, grants former presidents absolute immunity for actions within their “core constitutional powers”. The court’s 6-3 decision, with the conservative justices in the majority and the liberal justices dissenting, effectively narrowed the case against Donald Trump and sent it back to the lower courts to determine which of his actions were “official” and therefore potentially immune.
Key Points of the Ruling:
Official Acts Immunity:
The court recognized that presidents have broad immunity from criminal prosecution for official acts taken while in office.
Core Powers:
The ruling specifically identifies certain “core constitutional powers” of the president, such as commanding the armed forces and conducting foreign relations, as deserving of absolute immunity.
Presumptive Immunity:
For other official acts, the court granted presumptive immunity, meaning the government must rebut this presumption to pursue prosecution.
No Immunity for Unofficial Acts:
The court made it clear that there is no immunity for actions that are not official presidential acts.
They're not "acts" at all. They're crimes that are dependent on motive/intent, and motive/intent are irrelevant to the determination of whether or not immunity applies.
Oh, the A move is to indict a little person and then flip him to implicate the rest. Obozo doesn’t need to be indicted he just need to be named as an un-indicted co-conspirator. Everyone knows what that means.
Even the Supreme Court has no authority to protect or forgive treason. But ever since they rolled over with the 2020 election, claiming the states has no standing to protest the election, they have proven themselves to be useless political hacks that more and more people will ignore.
lol what? That isn’t even wrong.
It is exactly the point, though.
‘Crimes are not core constitutional powers.’ Everyone not a democrat
Spying, sedition, treason, betrayal resulting in death, capture, enemy containment, plus clear evidence of criminal intent (did it for money or to give an advantage to an enemy, did it to cause harm, did it with malicious intent) - nobody is immune.
As I see it, Obama will almost certainly be observed in history by many as a joke of a president. However, that doesn’t punish him as many think he should be punished. If he isn’t punished for what he did, he will likely just eventually forget the whole thing. That, in the opinion of many(including myself) is probably just not good enough, but I am not a lawyer & not exactly certain of how this can or should be treated.
I think that's exactly what happened and exactly what we have.
In total, 48 people were convicted of Watergate-related crimes. This number includes those convicted in the initial trial of the burglars and their handlers, as well as individuals involved in the broader scandal and cover-up.
I think we can beat that number.
I hardly think that presidential immunity applies to a culprit who attempts to overthrow the authority of a duly elected president! Maybe Trump wants to let Obama off the hook so that he can be owed??????? Else he (Trump) should let Obama’s lawyers figure all that out!!
Actions based on criminal intent are not protected in the Constitutional by presidential immunity.
Also, if the evidence Tulsi uncovered was concealed—whether by the parties involved (like Comey, Brennan, or others) or even by individuals or agencies acting independently—the statute of limitations wouldn’t begin until that evidence was discovered. That could extend the window for prosecution significantly.
It doesn’t matter whether concealment was done by the original perpetrators or by others—including government agencies or officials not acting at the direction of the accused. What matters is that the concealment delayed discovery of the crime.
This is a valid example of the overused complaint that Trump talks too much.
Great post, Dave.
Since when is treason an “official act”?
If Trump can be prosecuted for inciting a riot for saying “march to the capital peacefully”, anything is possible.
There are civil suits too.
Why not take the tact of the district judges and prosecute anyway? Let Obama go to USSC to affirm the immunity ruling.
If there is no indictment, Trump could file a Billion dollar suit against Obama.
I don’t think he should skate from consequences for his actions, but last years Supreme Court decision certainly lays it out. Thus the ruling was a dual edge sword—But if Obama can be regarded as a Pariah, then that might be enough...sort of like what happended to Nixon or Joe McCarthy.
I think he should be impeached and convicted. The Congress can do that, but I don’t think the votes are there in the Senate. If convicted, he would loose all SS protection, pensions, things like that, right?
Doesn’t Trump realize Obama can be indicted for Seditious Conspiracy, and get his own mugshot? Statute of Limitations doesn’t apply.
I don’t think Trump understands that the POTUS immunity isn’t absolute. He believes that it is, and the SCOTUS clearly said it was not. Obama acts in office, to destroy a freely elected incoming administration for political views isn’t going to be immune from Justice because he was POTUS or even lame Duck POTUS. Obama is at real risk, and I cannot see the SCOTUS giving ‘immunity’ here.
Simply put, there is NO REPUBLIC, if a sitting POTUS can undermine the voice of the people after they have spoken for new leadership. The Individuals who co-opt the powers of the executive and intelligence communities, to subvert the people, are acting like “KINGS” and not employees of the people.
The democrats have said they don’t want “KINGS” but they were fine when it was King Obama, otherwise they would be yelling and protesting in the streets about the actions of their political party and former POTUS actions. They can’t be for the Republic now, and formerly for ‘King Obama and his merry band of criminals’ before. The hypocrisy is evident, and should be highlighted by every person and new source.
Last, we still do not know if ‘King Obama’ was running the demented Joe Biden Presidency. Nor do we know if elements in the CIA loyal to Brennan had connections to the Wuhan lab and deliberate release of Covid 19. This ‘Russian Collusion Criminal Conspiracy’ runs very deep. It’s time to get to the bottom of it.
