Tulsi Gabbard Says One Person Added ‘Critical Pieces’ To Unraveling Russiagate Hoax
Daily Caller ^ | July 23, 2025 | Hailey Gomez

Posted on 07/24/2025 9:23:30 AM PDT by Red Badger

Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard said Wednesday on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime” that she couldn’t have gotten past the “deep state obstacles” to release files exposing the Russiagate hoax without a whistleblower coming forward to provide “critical pieces” to the story.

On Friday, Gabbard released newly declassified documents regarding allegations that President Donald Trump’s first campaign colluded with Russia to sway the 2016 election in his favor. While discussing the files with Fox’s Jesse Watters, the host asked Gabbard how she found evidence showing former President Barack Obama and his national security team “manufactured and politicized intelligence” in the Russia hoax.

“This was obviously important to President Trump, but, again, is an issue of importance to every single American in this country and the future of our country as a republic. So shortly after coming into this position as Director of National Intelligence, I formed a special team to investigate this issue. I’ve got to tell you, it wasn’t easy,” Gabbard said. “There were a lot of deep state obstacles that exist still within the intelligence community.”

“But, ultimately, we had a whistleblower who came forward that brought some critical pieces to this story, and we were able to discover these documents and find these documents that really pointed to President Obama directing his national security leaders in James Clapper and John Brennan to manufacture this January 2017 intelligence community assessment,” Gabbard added. “The investigation that I led at ODNI [Office of the Director of National Intelligence] that we released last week, Friday, provided a lot of those foundational building blocks and proof for what we know happened.”

During the Russiagate push in 2016, the infamous Steele dossier was eventually used as a roadmap for the investigation. While a handful of intelligence officials at the time backed the allegations, the probe ultimately failed to find any evidence proving collusion.

With questions still lingering about the continued push of the Russia hoax, Gabbard released a memo stating the agency found that Obama’s DNI James Clapper and the Department of Homeland Security withheld an FBI and NSA press release issued just weeks before the 2016 election, which said they had “low confidence” in Russia’s role in the data leaks.

Additionally, the memo said that deep state intelligence officials began leaking “blatantly false intelligence to The Washington Post” following the 2016 election.

Gabbard went on to say that the new files released Wednesday by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, taken from the January 2017 House Intelligence Committee Oversight Majority Staff report, dissect the assessment that Obama had “manufactured with fake intelligence in order to achieve knowingly using false intelligence in order to get to the conclusion that he wanted to promote to the American people that Putin had acted in favor of President Trump winning that election in 2016.”

“The report we released today, line by line, goes through it, dissecting and debunking the knowing falsehoods and lies that were included in that assessment with the specific intent to undermine the legitimacy of President Trump, to subvert the will of the American people who had just voted to elect Donald Trump in 2016, and to, in essence, launch this years-long coup against President Trump that lasted throughout the four years of his administration back in 2016,” Gabbard said.

While Obama’s spokesperson on Tuesday said that Trump’s White House was asserting “outrageous” allegations, Gabbard said she will refer the former president to the Department of Justice for criminal charges.

I thought I had read that they know who did the Seth Rich killing, and it was an MS-13 member who was killed by cops.

IOW, a contract killing with law enforcement destroying the witness who could have exposed it.

Black ops records are destroyed immediately after the need-to-know information isn’t needed to be known any more - at least when the military does Black Ops. In one particular case I know of, clandestine military operations were used to support Deep State black ops. Probably not the case here, but I’m sure the CIA destroys black ops records. In that case, only whistleblowers will be able to expose black ops.

I know of one case in which a President had to specifically protect whistleblowers from being killed by the CIA in response to their whistleblowing.

These records show the CIA in bed with the DNC to target Donald Trump, Hillary’s political rival, so your guess of the hit on Seth Rich being done by foot soldiers for the DNC is probably right on track, and the evidence that Tulsi is declassifying and releasing supports the need for more investigation into that. And investigation into who else the CIA has targeted for assassination on behalf of the DNC (hint: Trump).

Prof. Hanson says whistleblowers are now coming out of the woodwork. Probably hoping to save their butts.

That would be a sweet turning of the worm. To date, such a thing would be exactly the reverse.

“she will refer the former president to the Department of Justice for criminal charges.”

“Nice.”

We’ll see now nice when/if Barbie takes some action. And I don’t mean throwing it into File 13.

I’m hoping she will hand it over to a military tribunal, when all the sub=plots in the planned 16-year coup are finally exposed one by one.

I can’t forget that Trump said that “we” caught them all. That nobody but himself could do it, and we caught them all. That’s a pretty big hint that they have the evidence, some perhaps captured in real time. The challenge is to make sure that the country is ready for what it will take when it is all exposed. The country needs to be in sound financial and military footing. It seems like maybe Trump thinks it’s go time, so the various subplots of the grand plan of seditious conspiracy are being brought up point by point. I expect them to expand. Knowing the bigger picture may well explain why Gabbard is willing to use the term “treasonous” even at the very start of the exposures. I suspect she may know the rest of the story and that her assessment will be vindicated in due time.

“It’s very surprising those docs were not destroyed.”

Beyond surprising. Shocking. What did they have to gain by not destroying such important info?

... I would hope that we could have a records system where this was all as easy as pie. It can be done. They just don't want it done.

Anything done an be undone or re-done by those who know how.

The coverup would have been difficult, like a spider web, eventually missing documents would be identified and tied to this and destroying them would have also been illegal adding to their crimes.

Tulsi should use Obama's scandal to push for reform in our intelligence agencies. We should dismantle most of them. Did East Germany keep the Stasi after the Fall of the Berlin Wall?

East Germany ceased to exist so your statement is nonsensical. Germany has internal & external intelligence services that are slowly morphing into a STASI to satisfy the current government’s desire to stay in power. They certainly haven’t needed any ex-STASI help to do that.

Fair point, though I was referring to Tulsi’s response in comparison to the weak “These accusations are outrageous!” pearl-clutching.

2025.

Not quite like the Stasi in 1989.

The Germans are not cool with free speech (nothing new) but so far, they're pretty tame.

It could be that they were just trying to protect their jobs. At least now they are free to go after Obama.

It almost seems like it could be another example of the hand of God at work. Esther was a well-placed person with exceptional features (beauty) who was used by God to deliver the Israelites from a murderous enemy. God still plants people where they are needed and gives them the direction, strength, and wisdom to do what serves His purposes, even if they don’t understand the significance of what they are doing.

Somebody saw to it that those records were not destroyed. And likely whoever that was also made sure that when an honest agency head came in, she (Gabbard, and perhaps Kash Patel too) was made aware of these records.

Easily accomplished with, or through, strategic scuttlebutt around the water cooler/coffee pot.
