Democratic Rep. Yvette Clarke of New York admitted in comments that resurfaced Tuesday that she was eager for immigrants to enter the United States to help Democrats with redistricting.
Clarke initially made the comments during an Oct. 7, 2021, House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing, which were previously resurfaced in a January 2024 post on X from the EndWokeness account before resurfacing again. During the 2021 hearing, Clarke took aim at Republicans who were objecting to Haitian migrants.
“I’m from Brooklyn, New York,” Clarke said during the hearing. “We have a diaspora that, that can absorb a significant number of these migrants and that, you know, when I hear colleagues talk about, you know, the, the, the doors of the inn being closed [and] no room in the inn, I, I’m saying, you know, I, I need more people in my district just for redistricting purposes.”

Redistricting is a re-drawing of a state’s congressional districts and state and local districts that is required to take place after the Census, which occurs every ten years as required by the Constitution. The Border Patrol encountered millions of illegal immigrants during the Biden administration, according to figures released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Residents of Springfield, Ohio, interviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation in 2024 outlined how the town struggled to handle an influx of 20,000 migrants, many from Haiti, who contributed to an increase in traffic accidents and skyrocketing housing prices.
President Donald Trump has made addressing illegal immigration a priority in his second term after campaigning on the issue during the 2024 presidential election. Trump issued several executive orders to address illegal immigration and border security, including designating Mexican drug cartels, the Venezuelan prison gang TdA and the El Salvadoran prison gang MS-13 as foreign terrorist organizations upon taking office Jan. 20 and invoked the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to speed up the deportation of gang members on March 15.
Resistance to United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations to arrest illegal immigrants has included a Milwaukee judge who allegedly helped an illegal immigrant briefly evade ICE agents sent to arrest an illegal immigrant in April and Democratic Mayor Freddie O’Connell of Nashville releasing the names of ICE agents involved in a crackdown on illegal immigrants in the city in May.
In New York City, ICE agents arrested Democratic mayoral candidate Brad Lander on June 18 after he allegedly interfered with an ICE operation in a Manhattan court. Democratic Rep. LaMonica McIver of New Jersey was charged with assaulting an ICE agent after a May incident at an ICE facility in Newark.
In June, rioting spread to multiple cities after initially flaring up in Los Angeles following an ICE operation, with some Democrats demanding that the agency cease its operations in the Los Angeles area as a way to “restore order” in the city. In July, one person fired a pistol at ICE agents when the agency raided a California marijuana farm after obtaining a warrant, and gunmen also attacked a Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas, and an ICE office in Alvarado, Texas.

We can’t change this without an Article V amendment to the Constitution.

From the get-go, I was certain that getting VOTES was the ONLY reason the Demonrats pushed SO hard to keep our borders open.

If all illegals were deported Dems would lose 30 house seats, this is about POWER..and about counting them on the census, first they count them, then they get seats in the house, then eventually they are given amnesty so they can vote Democrat forever..that is why they are hell bent on giving them as many Govt freebies as possible. They didnt come here for a better life they came here for free stuff and in return the Dems own them for life
For decades the media and all political conversations have talked openly about how demographics was moving various states blue, or had moved them blue, or districts moving blue, predictions about when Texas would move blue, etc., etc. and it was always about the peoples of the third world moving in to whatever area was being pointed out or predicted to go democrat.
More people in a district just for redistricting purposes does not necessarily mean voters since redistricting is done on the number of people, not the number of voters or citizens.

I’m sorry, but I have to say this. The reason we have continuously made progress in the US to end prejudices and to ensure equal protections and opportunities under the law is because those in the majority made it so.
It was the moral compass of those in the majority that recognized and fought against injustices in society.
However, instead of acknowledging that their quest for equality was made possible because of the humanity of many in the majority, factions of minorities in America have used the gains they’ve made to pursue payback. Obama is one of them.
Not a single white person alive today in America had anything to do with slavery. In the hearts of most in our society racism is ahborrent and a thing best relegated to history as an overcome evil. That said, there are too many people in today’s America who are motivated by ‘payback’ irrespective of the fact that they can only ‘pay back’ this who aren’t responsible for their grievances.
This is the mentality that drives uncontrolled immigration - the desire to relegate those in America the left hate to a minority status, from which their voices will be diluted and their rights taken. It’s really not much different than the mentality that gives people the idea that it’s perfectly fine to take land away from and even kill white South African farmers.
If this continues, and particularly if the left and the current rendition of the Democrat party get what they think they want, America will not survive.
If America does not survive, all of those dreams of equality under God, self-determinism, freedom. and living together in peace will also die.
The best and brightest of the constituents. God help us with these genuine idiots in power and the bigger idiots that vote for them.

If any of the immigrants currently coming in showed a tendency to vote Republican, like the Cubans, would the Democrats change their mind and try to keep them out?
