Perhaps most famous for his failed Senate bid and failed tenure as Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair, Jaime Harrison has announced that his new podcast, “At Our Table,” will launch on Thursday. His first episodes will feature interviews with Hunter Biden and Democratic politicians like Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore and South Carolina Rep. James Clyburn.
Democrats actually think a former party hack will be as popular and compelling as Joe Rogan, and they simply cannot get it through their thick skulls: re-creating someone like Rogan is impossible. (RELATED: Democrats Are Getting Their Whole New Strategy Entirely Wrong)
Repeat: you cannot re-create a Joe Rogan figure, no matter how much money you throw behind the person.
Rogan became popular because he was himself. He was authentic and not born in the world of politics. He never intended to become a podcast star who could influence politics. He started by having long, meandering conversations with friends on a variety of topics, sometimes taboo, that legacy media outlets never discussed or even acknowledged.
Democrats would be better off starting a podcast with an AI hologram of Anthony Bourdain than giving Jaime Harrison a microphone. If not that, then they should consider appearing on popular podcasts that already exist.
Harrison knows he won’t be “the left’s Joe Rogan.” He’s just hoping the media uses that phrase to gin up publicity for his pod.

Rogan is himself. And he lets his guests talk and be themselves and get their message out.
The Left cannot survive like that.

Rogan isn’t right or left. He just has long conversations. The left can only survive in sound bites. That is why they like TV news. You can’t have a very long show consisting of sound bites. Nobody, even the left, would not watch.
It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. Let the Demoncrats speak so everyone knows who they really are.
They tried Air America, they tried shutting down Rush Limbaugh, they tried prosecuting Trump, they tried killing Trump.

So what do the democrats do to try to counter Joe Rogan?.....pick a politician......damn they’re dumb.......and blind as well.

Exactly. The Democrat Party is focused on compliance and obedience. They don't want people to have open-minded conversations because if they did, they would not support Democrats.
And most importantly he’s not a man of the people.

Now THAT is a good story.
They will use podcast produced interviews as news to supply MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, with (now validated) news stories. What did Nancy Pelosi explain it as?....”The wrap-up smear”.
What the left doesn’t seem to understand (and maybe never will) is that you can’t fake or manufacture authenticity, you either have it or you don’t, and people can usually tell which it is pretty easily.
The problem for democrats is that Rogan isn’t really political for the most part.
Of course, like so many people now, if you interview or say something good about a political type person, you must be all for them. It is all or nothing. All for, or you are against.
They forget that Rogan did cordially invite Kamala to appear on his podcast and she declined.
That is when all this frenzy that democrats needed their own Joe Rogan started.
Dems will in no way entertain the idea of having a podcast that allows for the other side to speak freely. Why? Because they do not believe in free speech, they believe in speech control. The podcast will fail because democrats already know their schtick and don’t listen which has always been the case when democrats do talk shows.
