Trump’s America First economy just struck gold…
Revolver News ^

Posted on 07/10/2025 9:23:33 AM PDT by Red Badger

For four long, miserable years, the Biden regime lied through its teeth about the economy.

While Americans were drowning in inflation, crushed by stagnant wages, and watching their savings vanish just to keep the lights on, Biden’s handlers were out there cheering and whooping it up. They told us the economy was booming. They told us if we weren’t happy, we just didn’t understand economics.

It was some of the most shameful gaslighting this country’s ever seen.

People couldn’t pay their rent. Chicken wings and eggs became a luxury. Families were forced to pick between gas and groceries while the White House insisted everything was dandy.

But now, finally, there’s some real light at the end of the tunnel, and no surprise, it’s coming from the return of actual leadership. Under President Trump, the US economy is waking up and starting to soar.

And here’s the best part… while we send illegals packing, Americans are finally stepping up and filling those jobs. The country’s economy is turning around, and this time, it’s benefiting millions of people who were left behind and lied to under Biden.

Fox News:

The latest workforce data suggests that American workers have been the main beneficiaries in the labor market amid the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration.

The Labor Department’s jobs report for the month of June showed that the number of foreign-born workers declined by 348,000 from May — while the number of foreign-born workers has declined by more than 543,000 jobs since January.

By contrast, the number of U.S.-born workers increased by 830,000 from May to June, and is also over 2 million higher than when the second Trump administration began in January.

That comes as a more significant shift in the composition of the workforce when compared with last year during the Biden administration, when foreign-born workers gained 1.025 million jobs and native-born workers picked up 1.099 million jobs over the same time period.

This is the real “hope and change” Americans voted for in 2024.

Watch:

But if you think the economy’s booming now, Karoline Leavitt says buckle up, because with Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill now passed, things are only going to get better.

Karoline Leavitt:

For the FOURTH month in a row, jobs numbers have beat market expectations with nearly 150,000 good jobs created in June. American-born workers have accounted for ALL of the job gains since President Trump took office and wages continue to rise. The economy is BOOMING again and it will only get better when the One, Big Beautiful Bill is passed and implemented!

This focus on the economy is music to the ears of Trump supporters who want him zeroed in on what matters most to everyday Americans. Sure, the country’s drowning in problems, thanks to the Biden regime’s incompetence and obsession with tearing us down from the inside, but at the end of the day, it’s the economy that touches every American. And that was the focus of a recent piece published by Revolver.

It breaks down newly released focus group data that takes you straight into the minds of everyday Americans—what they’re thinking about their money, their futures, and the road ahead. There’s good news and bad news, but one thing is absolutely clear: if the Trump administration plays this right, it could be a major win for the administration and the party for eons.

Revolver:

What this focus group data really shows is something the right and President Trump can’t ignore. The economy isn’t just an issue. It’s the issue.

Forget the culture wars, forget the foreign policy noise; it’s all filler. Because if people can’t pay their bills, they’ll tune out. And if Trump ever takes his eye off that ball, the movement could be in big trouble.

Voters aren’t asking for big promises or flashy headlines. They want stability, fairness, and leadership that actually takes on corporate leeches who are draining their paychecks. That’s what made Trump’s first run so powerful, and it’s still the winning message today.

The silver lining is that the left is in a doom spiral. Voters feel betrayed. They’re not just disappointed; they’re actually furious. And that opens the door nice and wide for President Trump and the GOP to lead with real economic populism.

Everything else is just noise — it’s the economy, stupid…

At the end of the day, the economy is the golden goose. If President Trump stays focused on jobs, wages, and real prosperity, he’ll have the political breathing room to tackle all the other issues plaguing this country.

Because when Americans can pay their bills, fill their gas tanks, and buy groceries without flinching and still have money left to enjoy life, they’ll keep voting the “right” way

I appreciate what Trump is doing and trying to do and I want more of it. But the economy is not booming. I think it can correctly be stated as the bleeding has stopped.

The environment for STEM workers is not rosy at all. There are tens of thousands of STEM workers who cannot get a job. Just look at the massive lay-offs that have been reported this month.

Companies are hiring foreigners in various ways. (Legally, I might add.)

I would agree. Reducing the price of eggs following forced culling of millions of chickens does not make a booming economy. The price of gas where I live is no different from the last quarter of Biden's administration. I just had breakfast a mom & pop diner. Cup of coffee $3.29. Insurance, food, services and other prices are no different from the last quarter of Biden's administration.

Am I conflating a 'booming economy' with lower prices? Probably. In any case, I would like to see the price of goods, services and taxes come down but what I see are prices at best stabilizing.

Not hard to see any improvement as booming versus the Democrats autopencratic disaster foisted on us by the near corpse of a president and his future morticians. But for sure prices are stabilizing and even drooping for now. Orders for goods are up.
Not big time booming, yet. But good signs are there.

Good news: Employment of non-citizens down and employment of citizens up.

According to Grok about half of the job growth has been in State and local government. I did not see that coming.

I remember it was like this in 1982 when Reagan first took office.

Then the boom hit.

Agreed. However, these tariffs need to cemented now. It’s killing businesses as they’re waiting what costs will be but can’t because it keeps changing. The manufacturing industry is getting crushed.

“I think it can correctly be stated as the bleeding has stopped.”

That’s step one before a full recovery can happen.

Lots of happily employed Americans doing work illegal aliens can’t do anymore.

More ICE please!

Companies fear the Trump paradigm because they are unfamiliar with it. If they are right they are positioning themselves correctly. If they are wrong there will be another hiring bonanza similar to the chip industry 3-4 years ago. I tend to believe the latter will occur as Trump is only married to tariffs if they produce the desired result. He is a deal maker and if tariffs end up hurting he will make a new deal.

I can easily handle all this success...
More... More... More...
I want lots more...😎

As for the need for all that foreign slave labor, my wife has me doing the dishes, vacuuming the rugs, and cleaning the toilets...

Having been born at home in 1933, during the Great Depression, this doesn’t seem so bad to me...

From what I can see, perhaps inflation is decreasing, but during a different period of time some prices increased drastically & never came back down. So while inflation may have moderated, there are still some prices that were raised exorbitantly & never came down, in spite of decreasing inflation. Consequently, there are is a certain portion of goods that are still overpriced in comparison to some of the wages. If I can see this in effect, I’m sure other Americans can too.
