I will never forget experiencing a stealth fighter in person many years ago. Our son was playing in a soccer tournament in a town near Wright Patterson AFB. Often you might see jets fly overhead while there.
That day, it was bright and sunny. Suddenly it got very dark overhead, so we looked up, expecting to see storm clouds developing. Nope. It was the stealth fighter, immediately overhead. If they had wanted to, they could’ve killed all of us easily. There was no forewarning. It was just THERE, and HUGE.
It made me very proud to be an American. If my memory is correct, this would’ve been in 2007, when W was President.
