Back in 1969, very close to the Year Zero of the modern "feminist" movement, an activist named Carol Hanisch penned an essay titled, "The Personal is Political," whose neo-communist, collectivist slogan was later weaponized by the former Lady Macbeth of Little Rock, now Dowager Empress of Chappaqua, Hillary Clinton. Although unfocused, unreadable, poorly argued, and couched (of course) in the language of "therapy," it served as the opening salvo of the anti-family, anti-"patriarchy" Left against postwar American society. Hanisch writes:
The paper, “The Personal Is Political,” was originally published in Notes from the Second Year: Women’s Liberation in 1970 and was widely reprinted and passed around the Movement and beyond in the next several years. I didn’t know just how much it had gotten around until I did a Google search and found it being discussed in many different languages. I’d like to clarify for the record that I did not give the paper its title, “The Personal Is Political.”

In case you're tempted to scoff at the sheer nuttiness of academic writing, three years later Alan Alda had supplanted John Wayne as the ideal American male. Duly empowered females were "liberated" to abandon the safety and comforts of the home and the joys and challenges of child-rearing in order to redundantly ape the males of the species in offices and cubicles all over the land, the better to "gain access" to the secret power corridors of the patriarchy on golf courses, locker rooms, and the waiting rooms of cardiologists. In short order, the cultural norms were, like Chesterton's Fence, torn down on the theory that they were entirely arbitrary and willfully punitive, and women -- the "gentler sex" -- would lead men out of the artificially imposed prison of sex roles ....
How's that workin' out for ya? Not well...

Mental ill health among women is on the rise. One in five women (19%) experience a Common Mental Disorder (such as anxiety or depression), compared with one in eight (12%) men. Three quarters (75%) of mental health issues are established before the age of 24, and young women have emerged as the highest-risk group for mental ill health:
-Monte Burns and Pfeizer.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton and her crony at the time, Victoria Nuland, gave us the Ukraine War, and Ursula VanderCrazy and Kaja Kallas continue to fuel the war and dare Russia hit back at their attacks trying to make it into World War 3. While just before that, Horse-Face in New Zealand locked her country down during Covid in a way that would make Stalin blush.
So forgive me if I don’t completely agree with the Feminist thought back then (and still likely now).
Or is now being better diagnosed.
I would place me dead alcoholic, man-hating, narcissistic mother and my evil sister Janice in Massachusetts (cried for two days straight, she said, when Hillary lost because "Now I won't live to see the first woman President.") as under diagnosed total whackos.
“... the former Lady Macbeth of Little Rock, now Dowager Empress of Chappaqua, Hillary Clinton.” That is good stuff.
Repeal the 19th amendment. Women are not emotionally balanced enough to participate in elections and holding offices, to say nothing of being firemen, policemen and politicians. They are simply the weaker of the species, living by feeling instead of logic.
If women want a say in events in their country, get married, have children, and influence them in the way to go. It is what they are exceptional at, along with teaching the young.
Yep
Also get them out of higher eduction professor roles and most high school teaching roles.
The rotten fruit of feminism.
” ... three years later Alan Alda had supplanted John Wayne as the ideal American male.”
I hate that guy Alda.
More horsepuckey from Horsepuckey Central
The perfect acting role for Alda came along in a TV series called The Blacklist. Alda played a very deep Deep State character. Part of the "Cabal" that tries to rule the world.
Other than The Blacklist, I don't remember Alda much. I never watched Mash. I believe if Alda ever came upon John Wayne, he would have probably run into the little girls bathroom.
Liberal women are emotional basket cases. They are mostly on anti-anxiety drugs and in therapy. That’s a hell of a way to go through life.
What nation can maintain a cohesive and rational society with such looney harridans in charge?
Watch some of the hundreds of youtube videos of hysterical, crying women demanding “What’s wrong with MEN?” “Why won’t men talk to me or approach me?”
These crazies apparently don’t even watch themselves on their own videos. These harpies see everything wrong as EXTERNAL when it is obviously INTERNAL but they refuse to acknowledge it’s inside their foggy heads.
Many modern women have ZERO SELF AWARENESS ! !
MGTOW - Men going their own way. Can you blame them?
It's our fault for allowing that to happen. We live in a weak society. We've allowed our important institutions to be conquered.
Trump is taking on Harvard, we need to see more of that.
Of course you know you’re going to get flamed for that.
Daughter, neice and I are staunch Republicans. I even worked for the Republican committee in Chicago years ago, made so much money for them, the state chairman wanted me to move to be part of state committee. Kids too young to take them out of their wonderful school.
My son, with a genius IQ, voted Dem.
It was only a few years ago, but a photo was taken of the seven Defense Department heads for the largest NATO/European nations.
All seven were women. And now we are being pulled into an endless Ukrainian War using NATO equipment stockpiles and money ...
