Since the November election, it has been evident that the Democratic party can be charitably described as "in disarray." Despite the posturing of those in the party and the aid of the media, the public has been progressively easing away from the party, with most of the evidence for that coming in the form of data. But now more signs are emerging that reveal just how dire things have become.
Apart from static pieces of evidence like polling figures, approval numbers, and trending maps, it is becoming more stark as anecdotal examples are springing up displaying that internal rifts are becoming the norm. We are seeing their version of the "Scorpion and the Frog" fable, where agreed-upon survival gets compromised by mutually-assured destruction.
The amusement is how this week the normally compliant and aligned press are on the receiving end of the effects. CNN pariah Chris Cillizza detailed an experience where his Tesla was defaced when he attended an event. While this should have led to him having an awakening, he instead wallowed in a state of dismay.
“The big concern I had—because this was the big thing that was happening—was sort of pro-MAGA people keying the car or smashing it…because America is about, like, real engines, not electric cars...
Sure Chris, except that was not happening. There was not a rash of “MAGA people” attacking cars, because while we are repeatedly seeing examples of Tesla vandalism cropping up since November, the press would have been in frothing overdrive to detail how those accursed Trump supporters were attacking innocent Leftists who only wanted to save the planet.
In another case seen this week Jake Tapper revealed something he experienced while out pimping his book release. During an interview he recanted how he had recently been on a podcast where he made an innocuous comment about his 15-year-old son desiring to become a cop, and he was faced with reactionary questions about how this was a sign his boy could be a racist. Tapper recoiled at this reaction and vulgarly explained how this was an indicator of how the Democrats ended up on the losing side of the election (profanity alert). Jake attempting to sidestep things by saying at the time, “This is why you fu***** are losing elections,” is a cute attempt at posturing like he is a neutral player.
Now while these sociopathic reactions from the left involving sycophantic press members display some circular firing squad activity, a more severe sign of discord has been revealed. At NBC News they made an extensive report on the internal meltdown occurring within the Democratic party, and it displays a rift of significant proportions.
The stomping Democrats received in the general election has been followed by moves perpetuating the downward spiral, and now operatives are causing an internal rift. The people affiliated with the Obama coalition are becoming an ostracized set, according to three senior D.C. editors for the network, including Jonathan Allen. The people once regarded as the gold standard in politics are being shunted, especially those names who worked on the Kamala Harris campaign.
Team Obama’s bloom may be falling off the rose. More Democrats are openly criticizing Obama strategists and consultants, who were long treated as the high priests of their party’s politics. Democratic National Committee officials at a news event last month blamed Obama’s lack of investment in state parties over his two terms for setting back local organizing, with the party still feeling the effects.
These rifts are not superficial, as many issues of discontent with the Obama universe were hinted at when Joe Biden was still entrenched, with accusations that the Obamas were actually pulling the strings as President Silveralert meandered. This only became more pronounced with speculation how much Obama was connected to the ouster of Biden, and there is still the possibility that Biden’s undercut party plans by announcing Kamala as the replacement on the ticket before a decision had been made. Note how it was a dashed off written announcement from Biden that she would take over, followed by Barack’s delay in coming out with an official endorsement
During the campaigns the Obamas did not display the electoral wand work to boost Joe nor to sway voters to Kamala’s side, and the unenthusiastic manner they displayed was often overshadowed by negatives. At the pre-debate Hollywood fundraiser, Barack’s magic was absent as Biden freezing on stage became the big takeaway. When they “officially” endorsed Harris, the staged phone call for the cameras received more attention. The Obama political pixie dust no longer worked wonders.
Now those in the Obama orbit are looked at as damaged goods. In the book “Original Sin,” onetime campaign wunderkind David Plouffe declared that Harris lost as a direct result of Biden & Co. He described the doomed Kamala campaign as “a fu***ng nightmare,” as he did not hold back on where he placed blame. “And it’s all Biden. He totally f***ed us.”
Others inside the Democrat universe are not in agreement. NBC spoke with those prominently placed in the party who did not hold back on redirecting that blame.
Plouffe’s verbal affront opened him and fellow Obama alums to their own criticisms. DNC Finance Chair Chris Korge lashed out at Plouffe in an interview with NBC News last week, saying he and other Obama alums shared the blame, chiding them as the “so-called gurus.” “It’s time to re-evaluate the use of consultants and bring in new forward-looking people,” Korge also said in the interview. “The old Obama playbook no longer works.”
These reactions are not unexpected in light of losing the popular vote, especially given the full bore backing they received from the media during the truncated campaign. The bigger problem is that as they understandably want to strive to move on from a losing venture, they are doing so without a contingency plan in place. There is no focus to be seen whatsoever from the Democrats, as they have various members coming out and going off half-cocked in their bid to make names for themselves in the shifting party environment.
Various upstarts have been spouting off for the cameras. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) has been an ineffective peacocking presence, and certainly the party leadership would be happy with Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) downshifting her aggressions. Meanwhile the established leadership has been no better, with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) appearing more impotent with each appearance, the recidivist retread, Vermont independent Sen. Bernie Sanders, touring the country for no discernible reason, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) speaking with brash confidence but diminishing relevance.
This is a party that is entirely adrift, resembling a sports franchise with a maxed out payroll but only capable of delivering a lingering losing streak. The only part worth covering is not the on-field performance but the locker room fights that break out as the coach loses their confidence and the main statistic anyone notices is the evaporating attendance figures.
All signs are pointing to the Democrats facing more losing seasons ahead.
The Democrat Party has never been less popular as voters reject their globalist agenda.
New theme for the Democrats by Saul Bass (or maybe APOLOGIES to Saul Bass)....

When someone evokes the F word, he’s trying to inject relevance, importance and emotion into what he’s saying. What that means is that what has been said lacks relevance and importance. When someone says, “X is the f-ing reason,” you can bet X is not the reason.
Wow! David Poofe is a racist, sexist, ageist pedophileaphobe.
Obama made it worse by lecturing young black members about not voting Dem.
The Republican Party could really achieve some great stuff right now. If they weren’t mostly Democrats, that is.
“The Democratic Party Has Moved From Plummeting Approval Numbers to Self-Imposed Implosion”
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Democrats retook the house in 2028.
I do not want Democrats to lose.
I want them to suffer.
I just feel tingles in my leg reading that over, and over, and over.
I want them to suffer.

And thoroughly humiliated for all to see.

Yeah, it’s 50/50. If the Dems lose 2026, though, the radical side will abandon the money side of the DNC. It also depends on if Actblue gets investigated or suspended. If Republicans gain seats in 2026, look out, because then the radical side will start with real violence.
I hope not. It’s not the democrat party even of bill Clinton. If democrats win in 2026, trumps life and ours will be completely miserable. The investigations will be in overdrive and probably played on tv. Republicans don’t investigate in the same way. Democrats go for the drama of it.
What kind of future does the Democrat party have when the parcel out the second most powerful position in the organization to David Hogg?
For at least the last 50 years, probably more, the center of power for the Democratic party, indeed, for the United States of America, has been the legacy media.
Alternate media is developed and being developed. Eventually, the alternate media may be taken over by a political ideology, as was the legacy media.
It won’t happen fast.
Ok, so maybe Dementia Joe actually did do ONE good thing in his entire life.
I stand corrected.
Lucky for the Dems, the Republicans are not doing anything to stop the systemic election fraud.
The Midterms will probably not be “too big to rig.”
