Mark Carney is riding an anti-Trump wave. Will that be enough to win Canada’s election?

Monday’s Canadian federal election is likely to determine the economic future of the country for years to come. Someone should inform the Conservatives and the New Democratic party (NDP). On 6 January this year, Justin Trudeau announced his resignation as prime minister and leader of the Liberal party, which had been in power since 2015. His resignation came amid plummeting support: the Liberals hadn’t formed a majority government since 2019 and on the day Trudeau resigned, the party netted its lowest approval rating at 20%. After a truncated leadership race, Mark Carney became Canada’s prime minister and leader of the Liberal party. He is now on the brink of retaining his position.

The liberals are the natural ruling party of Canada.

Yes. They and their ideology control Canada. Even Canada's conservatives are merely the center-right wing of the liberal party.

Even if the Conservatives win, they will be seat-warmers for the next liberal regime, which will push the country even further left.

its never permanent though. Eventually the Leftists hit bankruptcy and chaos. It just seems Canada is not there yet.

Agree. Shooting his mouth off about Canada and Greenland were big mistakes.

The Tories in the UK were Labour Lite. Most of their PMs were worthless. Boris Johnson was a populist so he wanted to get the UK out of the EU. Which was huge. But it may have been too late. Anyway, the Deep State got rid of Boris Johnson over a phony scandal. (Nixon anyone?)

Women and the college educated support them overwhelming.

➕️ ethnic minorities which is why the Liberal Party wanted to import more "voters".

They can hate us and hate Trump all they want because that will make shutting down the northern border easier eh?
They will eventually crawl back anyway so who cares what they do?

Mike Meyers, looking creepily like Julian Assange now that his hair has turned white:

Canadians love anything that shakes them out of their boredom and complacency.

Trump got rid of Trudeau just by making fun of him. He also got rid of that Freelander woman. They were both WEF acolytes. The downside may be that they elect Carney. If the result of getting rid of Trudeau is getting Carney I say this is not the worst case scenario. Having that Gavin Newsom clone was worst case. Hard to say whether Trudeau or Newsom is the original or the clone.

Election fraud will take the election for whoever the powers that be want to be in, short of a move of God to thwart it.

Carney is not as charismatic or machiavellian as Trudeau so it was worth it.

Carney is a WEF clone but otherwise he's boring.

I am pulling for Carney and Trump probably is too. A liberal win will lead to Alberta and maybe Saskatchewan leaving the Confederation as they are tired of being taxed to death to pay equalization payments to Quebec and the deadbeats in the Maritime provinces. Canada falls apart and we can pick up the good parts. Toronto and Upper Canada aren’t one of them.

Update...

CHEATING ALERT in CANADIAN ELECTION: 90 other candidates on the ballot directly in Pierre Poilievre’ own riding, so voters need to search for his name senselessly at the ballot box (or by mail)

Re: 36 - LOL.

No province is leaving the Confederation.

Do you know what is required to leave Confederation?
