Happy Ending: Guatemalan Illegal Alien Deported After Attacking and Injuring Endangered Great White Heron – Bird Makes Full Recovery (VIDEO)

An endangered Great White Heron has fully recovered from an emergency surgery after a fisherman pelted it with a rock at Bill Baggs State Park in Key Biscayne, Florida, in January.

The rock broke the bird’s wing and reportedly caused the bird to bleed heavily.

The man who threw the rock, Edgar Estuardo Valenzuela, was arrested after he admitted to the act of animal cruelty, which under Florida law typically carries a punishment of prison time or a hefty fine.

However, when he was discovered to be an illegal alien from Guatemala, police were able to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak, by stopping the perpetrator and promptly deporting him.

This is indeed a happy ending.

Liberals should have no problem with the deportation of a man who attacked an endangered species, right?

The author is exactly right. Deporting rapists, gang-bangers, murders, etc rubs leftists the wrong way. But a guy who hurt a bird? I’m surprised they didn’t send a lynch mob after him.

Yes they are. I love to watch them at the edge of the water slowly stalk their prey. They’re stealthy and take their time to attack.

We have them here in Northern Illinois, they frequent a small lagoon off the Rock River. Magnificent birds. We also have Bald Eagles, Vultures, and even turtle families, along with ducks and Canada Geese. They make my daily walks enjoyable.

It’s senseless to hurt wildlife like that.

I was standing on a bike path footbridge and a huge shadow passed over me. I thought it was an airplane, but it was a Blue Heron coming in for a landing.

He is back over here by now. Being deported don’t mean a thing to a wet back. Just a free ride to the Border. Soon as they turn him loose, he is working to come back here.
