News broke this week that the Alice Cooper Band was getting back together to make new music for the first time in more than 50 years, and it didn’t take long for fans to get a taste of the new tunes.
The band released its first single, “Black Mamba,” since 1973’s album, “Muscle of Love.”
You can see the song below.
“It was very much like this was our next album after ‘Muscle of Love,’” Alice Cooper told Billboard of the new music. “Just like, ‘OK, this is the next album.’ Isn’t that funny after 50 years? All of a sudden it just falls into place.”

Try to see him on his current tour. You won’t be disappointed.
I wonder if they had any theological discussions.
Past tense is “did” present tense would be “do”... but I long ago swore off bleeding heart liberal performers. Music, Film, Art and Sports.
The closest place he’s coming to in driving distance to me is Biloxi, MS on September 16th. Just 144 miles away. I can make it. Tickets are cheap.
I had to look up what you meant by cheap. $60. That is a good price.
I saw that Jon Anderson is still on tour doing YES songs and would be in town. Cheapest seat was $900+. Nope.
Some tickets I saw were $35.50.
He’s touring with Judas Priest. (Alice, not James)
(but I did like Carly Simon.)
So did I.
It is Blah!
$ 51 at Westbury Music Fair on Long Island .
I’m eighty
I get confused everyday
Eighty
I don’t know what to say
I went to a Judas Priest concert with Krokus.. I think it was around ‘81.
Too hard for me anymore.
Not everything. Check out this symphonic cover of "Poison".
And the Official Video, well into his sobriety.
I saw a televised revival of "Jesus Christ Superstar" out of sheer curiosity and wondered why the audience was going nuts at one point. It was the entrance of King Herod played by...Alice Cooper. Audience standing, doing the "We're not worthy" thing from 'Wayne's World' made it worth enduring John Legend's performance as the lead.
The Lord above can see ya….
They’re touring the 35th Anniversary of Painkiller. I thought THAT made me feel old...
It’s reminds more of the vastly underrated Along Came A Spider, which is my second favorite only to WTMN.
And Special Forces would probably be #4.
He also teaches Bible school there, which is not out for the summer
I’m currently desperately trying to sell my beloved AC trike to have money to finish fixing the house fire.
Everyone who could screw me over, did.
This is gutting me.
💔
But he made a lotta friends in the danger zone.
Most of his wealth is gained via real estate.
He tours because he loves to.
Surprise.
