American pastor Josh Sullivan was abducted at gunpoint during a church service in South Africa.

The 34-year-old Tennessee native was delivering a sermon at Fellowship Baptist Church in Motherwell, Eastern Cape, when four masked gunmen stormed the sanctuary on Thursday evening.

The congregation, including Sullivan’s wife and six children, witnessed the terrifying ordeal as the assailants forcibly removed him from the pulpit.

I know somebody who visited South Africa recently... I was amazed that they even wanted to visit and equally amazed that they did it without being accosted by some thug.

There is nothing worth visiting in South Africa.

Satan’s demons showed up because the pastor was changing minds and he couldn’t let that happen.

This mornings sermon our pastor told, as we sat in our cozy church, people all over the world are suffering for their faith just as they had done to Paul when he preached the Gospel.

Gird your loins, it’s coming here and has arrived.

We have churches in this country that feel the need for armed guards. They are called greeters in our church.

I am surprised any White person would go to South Africa, considering how Whites are being treated there - are targets of violence as this pastor found out.

Still, the pastor and his family are in my prayers and I hope for a good outcome.

I don’t question that he has a mission there at this place and time. It is not my mission, but having been in very dangerous circumstances in foreign countries, I understand his need to try to fulfill it, even if it leads to the death of he and family. If God can save him in America, what makes us think he can’t save him there? We will pray for a good outcome, but he is there for a reason.
