Is YETI Auditioning to Be the Next Bud Light? Brand Cancels Order Because it has the Word “Conservative” in it

The Clare Boothe Luce Center for Conservative Women in northern Virginia just wanted to reorder branded thermal cups from Yeti for their organization, something they have done in the past.

But, according to an exclusive by Fox Business, the result was anything but ordinary.

Although the young women’s nonprofit leadership organization ordered branded cups last May without issue ,and with the exact same logo, Yeti has allegedly refused to fill the order.

Per Fox Business:

In emails obtained by FOX Business, YETI responded to inquiries from the Clare Boothe Luce Center regarding their canceled March 20, 2025, order citing item no. 15 or “Custom Products” in their terms and conditions.

According to the brand, “YETI values respect, tolerance and open dialogue, and we serve a diverse and varied customer base. YETI has the sole discretion to reject any order that we deem inappropriate for production… Starting with our first customized Ramblers in 2015, we’ve used our best efforts to avoid creating custom products with political affiliations or associations. Because the process we use to identify political affiliations and associations involves human judgment, we may inadvertently accept an order and mark a YETI product with a candidate’s name or campaign slogan simply because we weren’t familiar with it when the order was placed.”

Begg claimed in an interview with FOX Business that the YETI brand accepted their order worth $1,608.00 this week before canceling it abruptly. According to Begg, the Center was originally confused about what changed between their May 2024 order and their attempted March 2025 order, which resulted in cancellation.

The Clare Boothe Luce Center shared how the cancellation unfolded via X.

“Our mission includes a commitment to promoting strong conservative women who serve as healthy role models for young women everywhere. Here’s our Yeti mug being gifted to @Stella_Morabito, one of our speakers. It has also been gifted to so many more of our wonderful speakers including @Advo_Katy, @erikabachiochi,@AmberSmithUSA, @emlwaters,@rachelbovard,@sarahcbedford, and @DawnHawkins33.”

“We ordered the EXACT same product from Yeti last year with no problems. Nothing is different-their terms haven’t changed in the last 10 years. We submitted payment and got all the confirmation emails.”

“This is ridiculous. Yets, do better.”

“This is the Yeti mug we’ve ordered in bulk from Yeti before.”

“We needed a restock so we ordered them again and everything seemed to be going smoothly.”

“But we got denied. Cancelled. Our order was cancelled because our logo contains the phrase: ‘conservative women.'”

“Mind you, this was after we paid for our bulk order AND after we received multiple confirmation emails that said our order was being processed and was all set to go.”

Having worked in the branded television outdoor field sport market, there is a good rule of thumb: if they serve fishermen and hunters, they are a conservative company. If their product veers off to fly fishermen or hikers, they are lefty proggies. Yeti wouldn’t even do trade outs of their precious cooler for TV time. Same with the jerks at Patagonia. Go visit these fly sport vendors at a show and see how stuck up their azzes they are.

If fishing were a religion, fly fishing would be High Church.............

I’d say, try RTIC. Their cups are just as good and a “touch” less pricey.

Yep. Place an order for “LGBTQ+ Democrats for America,” and let’s just see what happens...

Ummmm, you didn’t return it or hold it for him after he worked on your car? That’s kinda douchy of you.

Yea, I’m a prick when it comes to stuff rattling around in my car. I thought it was my wife’s. I tossed her rolled up yoga mat out on the driveway in the rain last time she left it on the passenger seat. And I don’t think anyone should be eating or drinking as they drive. As for the yeti cup, if it had rolled out while I was still near the shop I might have walked it in. Or, maybe not. Depending upon my mood.

They came out anti gun rights and leaned pretty hard into the Branch Covidian movement. No conservative should be doing business with Yeti.

It’s almost impossible to find drinking stuff not made in China that is being sold as new these days. I thought YETI because of the high price might be an exception but no it’s also made there.

That goes against what I’ve seen on YETIs recently. They seem to be made in China.

Wow, what hypocrisy. Okay to cancell an order for a conservative, but not okay to refuse to bake a cake for a gay wedding?
