Signalgate: President Trump Stands by Mike Waltz - Attributing Signal App Issue to Waltz Staffer Who Accidentally Added Journalist

The rest of the DC setup is transparently clear. (1) Goldberg held the story until the day before a long-scheduled Senate Intelligence Committee hearing. (2) The SSCI then used the hearing to blast the heads of the Trump administration intelligence silos on the issue of “classified” information in the text messages.

♦ The next act in this well-known performance will be for Democrats to demand the release of the Signal App transcript, if it’s not classified, then there’s nothing to hide.

♦ Public pressure via narrative drum-pounding will continue to increase, until the chat messages are released to congress. [Keep in mind, Jeffrey Goldberg likely already has them.]

♦ Everyone in the chat group will then be told they must recuse themselves from internal silo determinations as to the classified status of the conversation. More public pressure will be generated to achieve this “position of conflict” demand.

♦ The Intelligence Community, without the heads of the silos – likely leveraging the internal investigative agents of the FBI (INSD), will then say the content of the chat was indeed classified, TSCI level. There will be weeks and months of leaks to the media as each granular detail is discussed ad infinitum.

♦ The cabinet members will then face the drumbeat of resignation demands, and/or useful impeachment fodder for ‘lying to congress’ during today’s Senate Select Committee on Intelligence testimony.

At least that should be the anticipated approach by the “Seven Ways from Sunday” group, who operate to defend the interests of the Intelligence Community from agency heads like those who were on the Signal App chat group.

We’ve all watched this play before.

Senator Mark Warner also used Signal to peddle the bogus Hillary Clinton-funded Russia dossier in 2017.

This is a coordinated psyop against Hegseth that Democrats call the Wrap-Up Smear "Tactic"

  1. Demonize your political opponents by telling lies about them.
  2. Have the press report the lies as if they were true.
  3. Use the press reports as validation of your lies.

Nancy Pelosi says the wrap-up smear "tactic" is only used by Republicans, but Alinski 101 dictates that you always accuse your political enemy of what you are doing.

Signal is a Deep State psyop with a built-in back door. They intercepted Oath Keepers Signal messaging. There is only one way that happened.

What we need to know is if the aide in question is a hold-over employee...iow, a deep stater.

Why would a Waltz staffer have Notorious Anti Trump talking head Jeff Goldberg chat I’d info needed to accidentally “add” him to a Trump intelligence chat app? Was this staffer regularly chatting with Jeff Goldberg him or herself? If so, why? To what positive effect for the Trump administration? Many questions.

...more, remove the access of the aide to any sensitive information and processes. Don’t give him the chance for another “accident.”

Or transfer him altogether, if not firing him outright.

Not sure if it is wise for Trump to overreact to this.

He has a traitor in his midst.

It’s not like he has not been stabbed in the back from inside his own tent before.

I don’t think much comes of this.

I’m more interested in how the Ice Queen handles this than Trump.

Even if Blondi were competent, I don’t think it is matter handled publicly by your AG.

Frankly, that would be dumb and play into the Marxists’ hands.

Why criminally go after one of you own, when you have so many Democrats more worthy than him.

This is a matter to be handled internally and not necessarily by Trump personally.

I don’t think Waltz lasts past summer.

It’s over. The president has spoken. All Hill Republicans should cease talking to the media about it, and the fake ‘scandal’ the Dems are desperate to generate will end with a whimper.

That’s a good question. I doubt that but we certainly need to know more about the underling. But ultimately it gets back to Waltz. He’s the boss and the boss is ultimately responsible for inexcusable failures. I say inexcusable because there should never have been an opportunity for “cross contamination” of addees on a sensitive list. That’s really basic stuff.

If this would have happened to the other side we would never refer to it as a fake scandal. Just sayin.

“I don’t think much comes of this.”

*********

You may be right. But what if something similar occurs again? The problem here is once means not allowing a twice under any circumstances. This little episode has opened the door to investigations if it happens again and therein lies a potential problem down the road.

As usual, the senate hearing today was a chance for the Rats to engage in performance art. It’s what they do. They don’t care about truth, they only care about cosplaying. Viewers got to see that today. Democrats are losers.

I think it was very fortunate this happened over a minor attack. Goldberg was actually stupid to reveal this, as he could have been part of a strong of major chats, which could have been more damaging to Trump - or could have been fodder for a book of his own. Now he’s cutoff, and Trump’s people will be much more cautious, as they should.

Why not? There's nothing here to reasonably get upset over.

I don’t know this—I'd have to be in the national security loop to make that claim. What I’m laying out is logical speculation based on how these things typically work.

Normally, officials at that level would use classified networks like SIPRNet (Secret) or JWICS (Top Secret), secure phones like STEs or HAIPE devices, or encrypted government email—all of which are monitored, firewalled, and mandatory for national security communications.

So, if Hegseth and top national security officials were using Signal, a civilian encrypted app, that’s not standard—it’s deliberate. It strongly suggests they were:

Whatever the reason, it's unusual—and that's what makes it worth speculating about.

When people at that level go off script, it’s rarely accidental. Using Signal required a conscious decision to do so—and that decision was almost certainly strategic.

Then shut down Signal. No more info given to the media.
