Here are 3 that you will want to own!
Why go bufferless you ask? Well as the above made in the USA Bear Creek Arsenal pistol proves without a buffer tube your firearm will be quite a bit shorter and easier to handle. Also a folding stock or arm brace can easily be added since there is no buffer tube to get in the way. Maybe you like something different and cutting edge than everyone else at the range? Well bufferless might be right for you. Bufferless firearms offer so much for the shooter, collector and the hunter afield. Let’s look at some great bufferless AR style firearms that are a sure win. Bear Creek Arsenal’s 9MM Billet Bufferless Pistol
I’ll pass on the 5.56 AR pistols. The added registration for an AR pistol or short barrelled rifle ain’t worth it. Besides, when you shorten that 5.56 barrel that much, you lose a lot of velocity. Those 6” barrel ARs can drop the velocity down under 2000 fps. At that point, you’re muzzle energy is down around a 9mm from a Glock 17.
More worthless drivel from American Shooting Urinal, and another buck in the bank for w1n1.
My Trust in Barrel lengths for AR-style rifles does not go past 16-inches with a rifle-length gas system for less blow-back of un-burned powder particles.
These buffer-less designs are more for the pistol-caliber cartridges (p.c.c.) carbines as we see in the photos of this here article.
Matter of fact, PCC's will actually lend themselves to helping revive sales of the larger pistol calibers such as 10-mm and .45-acp
And this is all from a M1 Grand feller.
For something “spunky” in a pistol, I’d go with the .44 Mag Desert Eagle.
Really love the RDB from CMMG. Built an AR 9 using their bolt and bbl and it is so much nicer than blow back.
Desert Eagle. Ha ha ha. The Zoot suit of pistols
Glock 35 40 caliber is the largest pistol I will shoot repeatedly at the range with comfort. Anything larger hurts my hand after a couple of mags.

Is Olympic Arms back in business?
Me too. The Desert Eagle is spectacular, but I don’t want one.
;>)
Yeah, I checked, and Oly is still kaput. The driving force behind them died of cancer...in his ‘90s. They were quite innovative, back in the day, going back to their association with P. O. Ackley. Flat-top receivers, free-floating handguards, unconventional chamberings....
I don’t understand why anyone would want a 9mm in an AR pistol. It just doesn’t make any sense to me.
Yep. I have an AR9 and AR45, both with 16" barrels. I consider both of these to be true CQB weapons, but plenty capable at 100 yards. That 16" barrel length gives those pistol cartridges some serious velocity.
Might be the interested in giving them a look-see.
Ruger made my .45acp PCC, and Freedom Ordinance made my 9mm PCC.
