Robert F. Kennedy Jr., recently announced plans to ban pharmaceutical advertisements from U.S. television, highlighting the U.S. as one of only two countries allowing such ads. His proposal aims to address what he sees as Big Pharma's undue influence over public health decisions, though it faces potential legal and industry resistance.

This story is a summary of posts on X and may evolve over time. Grok can make mistakes, verify its outputs.

====================================================================

Robert F. Kennedy Jr | MAHA (Commentary only) @RFKJr_Official · 1h I'm thrilled to announce that we're ending pharmaceutical ads in television.

America is corrupted by Big Pharma. For years, they’ve pushed drugs like candy, silenced critics, lobbied the Congress and the White House, and cashed in on manufactured fear. Big Pharma, through drug advertisements, are also a huge source of income for mainstream media, effectively controlling the media outlets.

Soros and USAID aren't the only ones who use the mainstream media to perpetuate propaganda.

ALL THESE WILL END NOW.

It seems like every other ad on tv is for some type of medication. Get rid of them.

I know right! Ban them all, if you need it your doctor can tell you about it. All the PSA’s about racism and hate are just as bad too.

What I hate is the misleading stuff they say.

“90 percent of the 1 percent who get (whatever disease) will get (whatever disease).

People see the 90 percent and freak bout but it’s only 90 percent of 1 percent.

And older people are usually the targets.

Yes, please. And replace them with cigarette, chewing tobacco and lawn darts adds.

And bring back smoking in hospitals!

I’m not being facetious. I want some booming 50s vibe with MAGA v.2.0.

Wow. That’s a kick in the sheets for the MSM, not to mention an advertising industry that really deserves one.
