Emboldened by the Supreme Court’s refusal to intervene, fired Biden holdover Hampton Dellinger is now fighting to reinstate 5000+ probationary workers fired by the Trump Administration.
The Trump Administration recently fired thousands of probationary workers at the Department of Agriculture.
President Trump fired Hampton Dellinger, Special Counsel of the Office of Special Counsel (not to be confused with a special counsel hired as a federal prosecutor) a few weeks ago.
However, after several weeks of back-and-forth in the courts, corrupt Obama Judge Amy Berman Jackson ruled in favor of Hampton Dellinger on Saturday and entered a judgment declaring his firing illegal.
On Tuesday, Politico reported that Hampton Dellinger is now seeking to block Trump from firing thousands of probationary workers.

“This is getting out of hand.”
Not getting, it is way out of hand.
Amy and Hampton must have a thing going.
Why not? The law appears to be on his side. Feckless has consequences.
Trump can go ahead and retire. The judges’ got this.
Trump isn’t really President, you see.
This is the same position they took during his first term.
(Why not? The law appears to be on his side.)
Are you đŸ’¯% sure?
Good luck with that.
The probationary workers are toast.
We had long threads walking through the legal issues ad nauseum.
Bottom line—the ruling Code of Federal Regulations supports everything President Trump has done in this area.
Legal researchers have thousands of pages of legal documents explaining the legislative history and why President Trump’s actions are valid.
This is not even a close call.
Whose side?
Sorry there are no jobs to come back to
Roberts screwed up big-time by not stopping this in its tracks last week.
I don’t think this tussle means what they (the Democrats) think it means...
They applaud the injunctions, but do not realize that the point is getting it to the Supreme Court, where it is likely that Trump wins. He may take an initial loss at the District Court level, but that’s not the point. He is framing issues that are likely to be winners at SCOTUS, and if they are not, then it becomes a national political issue for 2026.
Evidently the President of the United States has no power to do anything. Bureaucrats get to decide.
If only we had known 12 years ago.
Democrats are kicking up sand as the tanks roll by.
Most of these lawsuits are frivolous.
Trump can fire ANYONE he wants to..Elon cant but Trump absolutely can he’s the President of the United States..he could fire the ENTIRE Govt tonight cause he felt like it if he wanted to
Until this stops, yes. Everyday has another judge overriding the president.
Well—sorta.
He can if he follows a few tricks.
Probationary employees he can fire at will.
Supervisors and managers he can fire at will.
As to the rest who are covered by union contracts—he would need to follow the plan developed by Bill Clinton.
The way Clinton got rid of 800,000 federal employees over eight years was this:
—Order a reorganization of Department X
—Abolished all jobs in Department X
—Create a new organization chart for Department X
—At that moment every employee in Department X has lost their job
—Clinton then allowed employees to compete for the new jobs with the new job descriptions in the new organization in Department X
—Clinton hired as many as he wanted
—It was a game of musical chairs. Anyone who did not land on a chair was gone.
