Certainly the US senate will endorse this based on the way they goaded Tulsi over her remarks on Snowden.
The context, from the video, is that there is concern that soon to be fired disgruntled employees might be tempted to leak info. She' saying up front not to do it because it's treason and cause for execution.
Unfortunately, classified information has been used to protect the corrupt in our government rather than protect the people.
I don’t like the idea of someone getting executed because he leaks the classified information that some senators are getting blackmailed for diddling kids.
Yes, any clearcut, provable act of treason by any level of government official or lowest ranked soldier should result in the most serious sentences for something seen as mild or stupid and receive the death penalty if done as a deliberate act of treason.
Anna Paulina... how are things going on releasing the Epstein list and the JFK documents. Your first meeting of a commissions to review them is over a month away.
What is being hidden? And reviewing them implies that some will STILL be hidden.

I personally would support her on this but the US nation seems to have lost the collective will to call out and fully prosecute real traitors to our nation. Maybe that has now changed.

Good. But how about domestic enemies?
No! It’s a violation of the espionage act! Treason has a specific Constitutional definition. Leaking\giving information to foreign even hostile powers when not a war with them is not treason but espionage.
The Rosenbergs were NOT executed for treason but for violating the Espionage Act.
The Founding Fathers made treason a hard charge to make. John Marshall at the Burr trial raised the bar even higher. Remember if it becomes an easy charge to do it will be used against Conservatives. Ratters will be more than happy to do that when they get back in power. They will get back in power don’t think they won’t! Think what they would have done with that power to the Jan6 protesters!
