Vice President JD Vance called for the rehiring of a DOGE staffer who resigned from a sensitive Trump administration post over the exposure of tweets advocating for racism and eugenics.
President Donald Trump later endorsed Vance’s recommendation.
Vance gave his view in a reply to a poll that DOGE chief Elon Musk launched on his social media platform X asking users if the staffer, Marko Elez, should be rehired.

I believe Americans to be a very generous and forgiving people. We need to pause on cancel culture and work on bringing our country back to a better place.
If he’s doing good work, we probably should let it slide that he supports the historical views of Planned Parenthood.
Anything that someone may have done which is deemed “offensive”, should be shrugged off at this point. No one really cares.
Reports were he resigned....Did someone really fire him ? If so, fire that guy\gal...
Proof of this claim? The report was he had “links to a website that has such posts”.
Now I know everyone at Free Republic is pure as the wind driven snow but I am pretty sure very few 16-30 year old could stand up close scrutiny of every website they ever been too.

A prime rule of the multiverse is that when the left uses the term “racist”, they are lying out their Dorkbamahole.
Hell yes! Take away the left main weapon. Their only play left in the playbook is to do a deep dive into someone’s past, and look for something not 100% woke. Then they smear them. They do this as a subterfuge to hamstring their legitimate work.
Trump just took away their most powerful weapon over the last decade.
The key to offering forgiveness is admission of guilt. I would appreciate an acknowledgment of error. ( I assume the character comes from a “caste” system)
If this is the 19 year old kid, then cut him some slack, I am sure Elon had a long talk with him. Probably some kid who could hack into the Pentagon with a basic Dell Laptop computer.
