A Biden White House advisor made an unnerving admission to the existence of the “Deep State” while predicting that bureaucratic systems would crush Robert F. Kennedy Jr before he had the chance to make any meaningful changes.
James O’Keefe recently released footage from an investigation into Department of Defense advisor Jamie Mannina, who revealed he was working with third-party groups to undermine the Trump Administration.
Not long after the interviews were released, Mannina was fired from his contracted role as an advisor to the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon, according to an email obtained by O’Keefe Media Group.
In the latest video, Harvard Public Health PhD graduate Byron Cohen, an advisor for Interagency Research and Development Oversight in the White House Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy, said that the Deep State is “real” and that “they have ways that they can slow things down or block you without realizing it.”
Cohen is a White House “detailee” who holds a fellowship with the Horizon Institute for Public Service.
According to government websites, a detailee is “an employee of a United States executive branch government agency temporarily assigned to another position, generally in another U.S. government agency or an international organization.”
Cohen says he “can’t think of anyone who I would less rather have to be president than Donald Trump,” revealing his plans to sabotage the new Administration.
“I’m gonna stay for the first few months to help ensure there’s a successful transition,” he says.
However, “if the new admin listens to us and values our expertise, I’ll probably stay a little longer.”
“RFK Jr. is a very bad pick for HHS,” Cohen said.
“I’m kind of hoping someone just puts him in a closet… there’s a good chance that the bureaucracy just crushes him.”
When asked if there were anything he would do to thwart RFK Jr., Cohen said:
“I would consider slowing things down,” adding that “one thing you might be able to do to sort of make him think something is happening when it’s not is to sort of put together like a commission to study something.”
“Maybe you could say like, ‘Mr. Secretary, we’re going to put together a commission to study the safety of fluoride in water. Mr. Secretary, we’re going to put together a commission to study vaccine safety, and we’ll let you know when the report comes out.’ And he’ll be like, ‘Yes, yes. Great.’ And then years will pass, and nothing has happened.”
“A sophisticated bureaucrat can do a lot to run around an unsophisticated political appointee if they want to,” he continued.
Cohen claims that blocking RFK’s agenda would not subvert the people’s will but asserts that it would be “probably acting in a way that is consistent with what the majority wants as a policy outcome.”
He later admits, “you’re also kind of subverting the political process as it is normally meant to operate.”

Of course the Deep State is real. And Trump is going to drive a stake through its black heart.
James has been busy.
The only way the Deep State can be fixed is if Congress actually stays within its Constitutional limits and shuts down everything else, to include mass layoffs.
I doubt RFK Jr is that naive that he'd fall for it.

The will of the people has spoken and DOESN'T want what these folks think we do and want to inflict on us.

Simple solution...
Mr. Bureaucrat, I want that report on my desk in three days. If it’s not, you’re fired.
Yup. This is what they do. Unelected DC running the country and thinking that they are entitled to do so.
Yup—specific deadlines with severe consequences for those who fail to meet them is the opposite of how .gov normally operates.
The way most sabotage works is that the Deep State mole contacts outside actors to sabotage the plans:
—Mass media contacts for propaganda against the plan
—Academic institutions or non-profits publish bogus studies to muddy the waters
—Lobbyists bribe or threaten Congress to impede the plan
—Lobbyists also seek the same tactic with WH staff
The good news is that the Trump folks have seen it all before—and are ready to deal with it by moving fast and breaking things.
That does not give the opposition time to mobilize their forces.
Delay is losing.
Action now is winning.
I guess anything can happen, but I think RFK is tougher than he looks. Maybe he’ll surprise them; I hope he does.
Someone needs to haul him and many others to the train station.
