Trump terminates Dr. Fauci's security detail after Biden's last-minute pardon

President Donald Trump has terminated Dr. Anthony Fauci's taxpayer-funded security detail less than a week after President Joe Biden have him a preemptive pardon.

CNN reported Friday on the latest move by Trump to punish his political enemies.

Fauci - the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases - has since hired a private security firm, the network said.

The longtime infectious disease expert has taken much of the blame for the unpopular lockdowns amid the COVID-19 pandemic, despite working under Trump at the time.

During his trip to Asheville, North Carolina Friday, Trump shrugged off the move.

'No, I think you know, when you work for government, at some point your security detail comes off, and you know, you can't have them forever,' the president said.

'So I think it's very standard. If it was for somebody else you wouldn't be asking the question,' Trump added.

Fauci was among those that President Joe Biden gave blanket pardons to as he left office earlier this week, fearing Trump would seek legal retribution.

“If they were killed or injured as a result would you feel responsible?” asked a reporter.

No! Said PDJT, they have lots of money, they can hire their own security.I’ll send them some numbers so they can contact some good ones.......

It was hilarious. I love President Trump.( Trump had to hire his own personal security when he knew the SS was not doing a full job. Now the tables have turned.)

Anthony Fauci has now become the nazi dentist character in “Marathon Man”:

“Is it safe?”

“Is it safe?”

"...the latest move by Trump to punish his political enemies"

We'll be hearing that ridiculous BS refrain for four years. CNN willfully ignores the fact that Fauci criminally funded the Chinese to do GOF research through "EcoHealth Alliance" which probably led to COVID in the first place.

Just a week ago, we learned from James Comer (R-Ky.), House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman...

...after an eight-month investigation, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) cut off all funding and formally debarred EcoHealth Alliance Inc. (EcoHealth) and its former President, Dr. Peter Daszak, for five years based on evidence uncovered by the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.

HHS stated “that a period of debarment for Dr. Daszak is necessary to protect the Federal Government’s business interests.” This letter also confirms that EcoHealth terminated Dr. Daszak’s employment effective January 6, 2025. EcoHealth and Dr. Daszak facilitated gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China without proper oversight and willingly violated multiple requirements of its multimillion-dollar National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant."

And who ran NIH at that time?

Let him keep his security detail on the condition that he injects himself with the vax and all 4 boosters on live TV.

Good. I have little sorrow for a mass murder. In my book he is as bad as any Doctor who worked in a death camp and experimented on children.

“near-fatal disease” and “saved us from” .... A simple “/s” would have reassured us that you’re kidding. Not familiar with the acronym “ICHIN”.

I’m curious how many people in DC and environs have “security protection.”

Given the size of the bloated Fed.gov and deep state, it’s probably a huge number, and the cost probably runs into $10s of billions.

Are there public figures on this?

Just for reference, a great-uncle of mine graduated university in 1931. He went to Washington DC and took a job as a clerk in the US Shipping Board (later the US Maritime Commission).

He says he would regularly see folks like VP John Garner or House speaker Henry Rainey at the local DC taverns, having lunch with the daytime crowds just like everyone else. Certainly no massive security entourage in tow.
