Cybertruck That Exploded Outside Trump Vegas Hotel Contained Bomb and/or Fireworks — Was Rented from Turo, the Same App New Orleans Terrorist Used

Law enforcement has confirmed the cause of the Cybertruck explosion outside Trump International Hotel Las Vegas on New Year’s Day was caused by a bomb and/or large fireworks in the truck bed. The incident, which took place at 8:40 a.m. local time, is being investigated as a possible terror attack.

Additionally, the Cybertruck was rented through the app Turo — the same company the terrorist in New Orleans used to rent the truck that he drove through a large crowd on Bourbon Street that had gathered to celebrate the new year.

“We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck”

This is absolute BS! Musk just lied his ass off! I just reanalyzed the video and the explosion starts under the truck where the battery compartment is. Not inside the Truck, and absolutely nothing coming from the bed. This whole thing is a smokescreen to cover inept LE investigators and Musk’s butt because one of his trucks blew up.

These cylinder batteries in Tesla battery packs are what the Police think are “mortars”. In the video when you freeze it you can see them flying out from the explosion and then exploding themselves.

Musk apparently rented a term at Mar a Lago...maybe a month or two...whatever. Except I read that he was hardly there.

I hope they keep Vance and Trump separate. On the 20th, the VP gets sworn in first...and then at 12:00, Trump gets sworn in. Wonder what Melania will wear. She's so lovely.

The pic shows fuel cans in the bed of the truck.

That TESLA truck not only didn’t fail, it prevented greater damage by maintaining its structural integrity. Had they used a common van, much more damage would have heel likely

Easy there, you’re going to make the Tesla/Elon mockers cry.

I wish FR had “like” ratings. Or maybe 1-5 stars?
Some posts are great and others...

"The pic shows fuel cans in the bed of the truck." And this screenshot freeze I took shows it blowing up from under the Truck. Absolutely nothing from the bed.. It is a set up...

Flames are coming out of the window so it's obvious the explosion happened inside the truck. Nice try though. The left thanks you as they really want Trump and DOGE to fail.

I’ve run into many that love the misery of others, some way too much.

Sick minds.

My intentions have absolutely nothing to do with politics at all. I am observing this from the view of a master automotive tech, and life long wrecker/repair shop owner. I have helped LE investigate many car accidents and car fires over the years. It is what I do.

The Tesla battery pack has a thin cover over it that is the FLOORBOARD of the inside of the car. It is just as much INSIDE the car as it is outside the car underneath. The Battery pack exploding would OBVIOUSLY blow up through that floor board also. But the picture absolutely shows the main blast is down toward the pavement and out from under the Truck.

The battery pack absolutely blew first...

The Government has to crack down on these truck rentals. Anybody can rent one. It is easier to rent a truck than it is to buy a hamburger. In America, there are more truck rental stands than there hamburger stands. Anyone can just walk up to a truck rental stand and rent a truck, no questions asked. Congress, in spite of the opposition from The Truck Rental Lobby must enact meaningful Truck Rental Legislation. We need, at a minimum: A cooling off period before one can rent a truck. A minimum age limit before one can rent a truck. A background check on the individual renting a truck. Proof that the individual renting the truck as taken an approved “Truck Use, Operation, and Safe Storage course prior to renting said truck.

Riiiiight.

Of course it will blow out the weakest spot, under the vehicle, as the upper shell is steel.

Keep it up. You're not alone as FR has called up the circular firing squad.

Have a nice evening.

“Of course it will blow out the weakest spot, under the vehicle, as the upper shell is steel.”

Weakest spot? The whole floor is a thick battery pack. It is like a brick wall! Do you even have any idea how they are made?

My only point is this X post by Musk is a flat out lie. Nothing blew from the bed of the truck. It is plain to see this in my picture if one is not blind. The battery pack blew from underneath and into the cabin.

And these “Fireworks Mortars” are indigenous parts of the battery.

Give it a rest. The batteries never caught. I just found this video. The fire was put out by a tarp, "rocker panels" covering batteries are intact.

X Cybertruck is seemingly literally blast-proof.
