Well done sir!
“I tell you, not even a sparrow falls to the ground without your Father. Fear not, you are of more value than many sparrows.”
Merry Christmas!
Joan Collins was *quite* fetching in that scene.
She was hot.
We could rename the "Butterfly Effect" to the "Sparrow Effect."
Yes I get them mixed up........
Comforting knowledge that it is the Omniscient One who works all things according to HIS will and good pleasure.
Do you think we will learn the “what ifs” when we get to heaven?
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. (1 Corinthians 13:10-12)
The "perfect" is the prefect revelation of Christ, (1 Jn. 3:2) and then I surmise believers will be able to understand all mysteries. And I think that even the wicked will realize "Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest" (Psalms 51:4) but which is not Godly sorrow, which day of salvation they spurned, choosing darkness over light. (Jn. 3:19-21)
For this life is a test, manifesting what each person really wants and why, and while no one can take any credit for conversion, since in that response man is doing what he could not and would not do apart from God's grace, the one thing that we must confess is that of resisting Him. To do so terminally means damnation.
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. (Luke 13:34-35)
