Trudeau's Exit Assured as NDP Leader Singh Will Introduce 'No Confidence' Motion

Canada's embattled Prime Minister Justin Trudeau hasn't been kicked out quite yet, but he's been handed his hat and shown the door. All that remains is for one of his coalition partners to swing the ax to end the political career of one of the strangest leaders in Canada's history.

Trudeau's mother Margaret was a flower child of the 1960s and a radical activist. She had a brief fling with Mike Jagger of the Rolling Stones, who said of her, "Margaret was a 'very sick girl in search of something. She found it – but not with me.'" Pierre Trudeau, Justin's father, served as prime minister from 1968-79 and from 1980-84.

Justin inherited his mother's love of causes and his father's limitless ambition. The result has been a scandal-plagued three terms as prime minister.

Trudeau came to power in 2015, during the age of Obama. And like the Americans, he tried to bring "hope and change" to Canada. He claimed to be a feminist, an environmentalist, a refugee and an Indigenous rights advocate. The reality was, that he was just a pretty face that the world media fawned over from day one.

Now, after nine years, it appears that his luck has run its course, and many MPs in his own party are now urging his exit. His coalition government is teetering and is set to fall when the House of Commons returns from its winter break on Jan. 27. At that time, a key member of Trudeau's governing coalition, the leader of the New Democratic Party (NDP), Jagmeet Singh, promised to introduce a "no confidence" motion that political observers say is certain to pass.

Let me say that I'm delighted that our very own President Trump hastened Trudeau's downfall. The Donald lit the fuse.

If Mark Carney declines Trudeau's invitation to become PM, Poilievre will win in a cake-walk.

And if Carney says 'non', then Trump should insist on snap elections in Canada -- there's no reason not to punch down on Trudeau. Non!

Seems like they left out Fidel Castro from this list, which means the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.

Having read enough stories over the years about Trudeau being on the political rocks that never panned out, I’ll believe it when I see it.

President Trump didn’t light the fuse - we’ve hated this guy for years.

President Trump was very wise to tap into that hatred though. The ridicule of Trudeau has definitely pushed the urgency to get rid of him along, and has helped curb some on the chronic TDS up here. The enemy of my enemy is my friend in action.

It is my hope that President Trump continues to humiliate (if that’s possible) this little freak we have, and even puts the squeeze on business in order to take him out earlier. I don’t know how he could, but it would be most helpful.

I’m starting to wonder if President Trump is serious about the whole 51 state thing after all!

Excellent!

Now that Nazi Justine Castreau is Done, Canuckistan should be broken up into three or four different "protectorates" and be used as Landfills and wast processing operations to keep their whining Nazi and Frog populations busy doing something productive.

VFew people understand the nuances of what has developed.

Trudeau favored a conciliatory approach to negotiating {Presidemt Trump opening up Cnadada top us goods hitherto under protective tariff.

Jagmeet and Freiedland wajat to whip Canada innto a Nationalist SOcialist frenzie, wjhicni will destroy Cnada’s economy and drive them to ecpmpmmic aliances with China and Europe.Canadians will suffer a decrease in their standard of living. This is part of the WEF sociaist plan.

Conservative leader Pollievre also favars a wide ranging lets make a deal appropach, as does Trudeau.

If TRudeau and his government falls, then lets hope Pollievre gets elected.

Interesting that hatred of Trump is fueling this NDP Socialist no confidence vote so they can engage in economic warfare with the USA and make themselves closer to Communist China and WEF Klaus Schwab Europe.Canadians love the USA, and do not want these Socialist radicals running things.

Theyt are getting rdi of Trudeau because he wants to cut a deal with DOnald Trump. He had differences with Friedland, whcih is why he removed her from the finnace minister portfolio leading to her resination.

So Trudeau gets the axe. Then what? Anyone have any theories? I can’t imagine they turn the page and get a moderate or a real conservative in power. It has to be a lefty. Right?

In politics, 1 month is a long time. Trudeau will be able to influence his opponents with various candies and sweets during this Winter Holiday Season... comes January 27, they all will have a different tune...

As far as any news up here goes, Singh will not be doing anything until after March, which is when he qualifies for his life-long golden pension. I hope I’m wrong.
