A Republican Congresswoman who has been “missing” for the past six months has finally been found.
Rep. Kay Granger has served as the representative for Texas’s 12th Congressional District since 1997.
However, she suddenly disappeared from the public eye around July this year, when she cast her final vote against an amendment to reduce the salary of Deputy Assistant Administrator for Pesticide Programs to $1.
A curious reporter at the local Dallas Express newspaper did some digging on Granger’s whereabouts and has finally been able to give her constituents some answers.
The reporter, Carlos Turcios, began by contacting her offices, from which they went directly to voicemail.
“I am sorry we are unable to answer your phone right now,” Granger said. “We are really glad you called us.
“Please leave your name, phone number and a brief message and someone in our office will call you back as soon as possible.”
The reporter then went to her constituency office only to find absolutely no signs of life or activity.
Seemingly at a dead end, Turcios then received a tip-off from a local resident that Granger was residing at an assisted living facility specializing in memory care.
His report explains:

Her congressional staff should be arrested for fraud and treason.
sorry....this should be private.
Wait a minute! Who am I here?
I want to know which Congress critters are prescribed dementia meds. HIPAA be damned.
BFD! We’ve had a missing “(p)resident” living at the White House for the last four years.
inexplicably sanguine
Private? She's a congresswoman.
Agree. And her family? Oh, I guess per the Biden Rule they didn’t need to let anyone know.
On the upside, she’s probably done less damage the past six months than any other representative.
Maybe she forgot to tell people she was in memory care.
Doesn’t meet the Constitutional requirement for treason but certainly could for fraud!
It seems to me the GOP controlled House* (as well as the Texas GOP!) shares in the responsibility for this!
* Constitutionally each House of Congress is responsible for the fitness of its members to serve.
As for getting her salary for six months without showing up to do her job, it's not much different than Flatlinejoe not showing up to do his job for most of the past four years.
With the traitorous Demonicrats and RINOcrats in charge of essentially everything, nothing will happen to either of them.
If she resigned first I would agree, but to keep public office and just not show up is wrong.
Who's been getting her paycheck?
“this should be private.”
I’m sorry, but you are nuts. The House Republicans have been down ONE VOTE since July 2024 because this rep “disappeared.” That is VERY public. The people of Texas 12th CD were denied representation.
she announce a year ago that she wasn’t going to seek re-election.

Craig Goldman(R) won that seat this year.
how did everyone hide her missing ?
Truly bizarre. I feel sorry for her for her condition, but how can the parties involved (her family and staff) justify this at all?

Not a surprise.
Government shutdown is not the end of the world.
