That’s if James Buchanan was not a homosexual. He never married, supposedly because he was too heartbroken after his fiancee died. He didn’t have to be confirmed to become President but he had been Secretary of State under Polk so would have been confirmed for that post. Also for a couple of other positions he held.

But if you can listen to 20 seconds of video, Magyn does raise her concerns about Hegseth starting at 1m30s into the video. She then goes on for an additional 100 seconds to provide details of those concerns.
I think his appointment is because he’s a genius at what he does. Also, he’s 100% on board with tariffs, which many are not.
