Hitting the half-century mark is much more than a milestone birthday; it's a testament to your resilience, wisdom, and perseverance. But turning the big 5-0 also means transformations for your body, like a slower metabolism and loss of muscle and strength, which is unfortunate since muscular strength is an essential component of healthy aging. Honey, it's about our health (wink wink).
You mean cutting, splitting, and stacking wood doesn’t count?
LMAO
It should!
Or gardening?
That too
They may live longer but likely with more injuries or replacement parts. I see plenty of people who walk too much, hurt themselves in yoga class, addicted to pickle ball causing themself chronic muscle tightness and plank or push up themself to constant neck or shoulder pain from pecs too tight.

If you’re 50 what is the best time to exercise?
HA
Nor apparently picking things up and putting them down.
100 year old’s agree.
Only if they make you a sandwich first.
Actually you are telling it right. And there is period of time in their lives when THEY will not let you forget that either.
Anyone else been through that? You have to invent ways to hide and run from her. “Hey, I might need the exercise, but I have to get sleep for work tomorrow too”.
That period when the pursuer becomes the pursued... lol
I hand quilt my quilts instead of machine quilting. That should count for something.
I often "run errands" like getting beer, so I'm good.
Yeah. You have the word, “run”, in there, so you’re golden.
