Donald Trump is magic.
I'm not joking. There really is something magical about the power he has over the world. Any normal person would have been crushed by all the forces arrayed against him, but somehow, he has survived and thrived despite constant attacks.
Since his election, both Russia and Ukraine have changed their tunes about finding a negotiated settlement, the markets have breathed a sigh of relief, free market advocates have been giddy and talking about investing in the United States, pharmaceutical companies are running scared, and...government employees are talking about mass resignations!
Ending wars is difficult. Getting career civil servants to leave the government is nearly impossible. That Trump can do it without firing a single person yet is miraculous.
Christopher Wray is going to leave soon, the Special Council is closing down his investigation, FBI brass are looking for the exits, woke flag officers are looking at the exits, FDA and CDC bureaucrats are updating their resumes, and the trash at the Justice Department is going to take itself out.
It's glorious.

All this is dependant on Rinos in Congress not getting in the way.
All his cabinet picks need to be in position before those bureaucrats will leave
Do they get their retirement packages if President Trump fires them?
Do they get their retirement packages if President Trump fires them?

I am pretty sure the answer is yes.
I also believe they could get their retirement package if they are convicted of a crime and sent to prison.
This is the benefit of being a “civil servant” they protect each other.
Those same RINOs are now dreaming of all the cocktail party invitations that’ll be coming their way for doing exactly that—getting in the way and preventing 47’s cabinet picks in position.
There will be a lot more sudden retirement applications than resignations. People in vulnerable agencies should be filling out those forms now, and I am sure they have already started. The smart ones had the forms filled out by voting day, ready to submit them on Wednesday. I bet there were huge lines.

And to reward them for their gravitas, pull every one of their security clearances with an additional, you cannot go to work for a company engaged with the government for 10 years.
It’ll feel good not to have the feds hands in our pockets.
