U.S. — In the aftermath of what was a bitter and contentious presidential election season, signs of national unity began to appear, as Democrats and Republicans across the country found common ground in rooting for Jake Paul to get punched in the face.
Though members of each party had spent the last several years aggressively seeking to tear each other apart due to differing views on a wide range of political and social issues, they discovered they all shared a deep-seated desire to see Jake Paul get obliterated by Mike Tyson.
"It's beautiful to see our nation coming together again," said newly elected Senate Majority Leader John Thune. "Politics is often a mean and nasty business, with people doing whatever they have to do to tear down their opponents. We now have a glimmer of hope, however, as we join each other in wishing painful bodily harm upon Jake Paul in his fight with Mike Tyson. On this night, Democrats and Republicans are all brothers and sisters."
Democrats agreed that tonight's fight was an occasion to put aside all differences and unite for the good of the country. "This goes far beyond party divisions," said Senator Chuck Schumer. "The desire to see Jake Paul get punched in the face is the same desire that is inside all of us. This is what democracy is about — working together toward a common goal… with that goal being watching Tyson beat Jake Paul senseless."
At publishing time, President-Elect Donald Trump issued a brief statement acknowledging the nation's newfound unity: "God bless America. And may God have mercy on Jake Paul's soul."
Mike Tyson may be 57, but he is a professional boxer, and was one of the hardest hitters everywhere. For him to box against even a great amateur should be illegal.
Or is this like wrestling, and he has been told to pull his punches. Either way, this is stupid.
I figured tonight that Jake would beat Mike due to the age difference but heck what do I know..maybe Mike will end up beating the holy hell out of him
Decades ago, upon being told his current challenger said he ‘had a plan’ to defeat Tyson, Tyson said: “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.”
Paul’s only mistake may been agreeing to eight 2 minute rounds.
"Because if Bruce Lee doesn't have a gun, then it's Ali in three minutes or less."
But I did see Tyson fight once. I think someone will be needing some band-aids.
The only person that came away better for having taken a Tyson punch was Robin Givens.
Who the hell is Jake Paul?
I never understood the idea of “Oh they abuse me now but let’s get married! That will make it all better.”
Be great if this turn out to be a real fight. I have thoughts that it could be a type of WWF event.
kinda like the jewish community voting for demonrats...
Sort of like you keep posting on FR.
Tyson’s last exhibition fight was mostly fake so we’ll see what happens. This is a modern freak show.
you posted first... i responded... what’s the issue?...
The ‘fight’ has been dubbed an ‘exhibition.’
I am also curious as to why so many want to see Paul get beaten. He is hyping the fight with his bragging and outlandish statements just as other boxers do. Why hate him for that?
Tyson is 58 years old. If Paul can run for a few minutes, say into the 4th or 5th round, then Tyson will either quit or fall down from exhaustion. He hasn’t fought since what? 2005?
I think this is the song he’s somewhat famous for.

It kinda reminds me of the tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs back in 1973. There is some debate whether Riggs allowed her to win or not.

I would pick Tyson cause I have seen some of his work out videos. He appears to be in very good shape and seems much quicker than Paul. He gets inside Paul’s reach and lookout. One caveat...he hasn’t taken a blow to the head for a long time. And he has a 58 year olds brain circulation. If he gets battered in the head...all bets are off.
My guess he goes in for the kill in the third round, IF he can dodge Paul’s head blows for the first two rounds
..
IMHO
Wouldn't his training include some sparring? Not likely to get hit as hard as in a fight but some sparring sessions can get pretty enthusiastic.
