Instead of firing #RachelZegler, #Disney should issue a public statement saying that it was wrong for them to fire #GinaCarano, and that it's wrong to fire anyone for something that is not related to their job performance.

By not firing her they have given Gina everything she needs to win her case and hopefully billions of dollars in punitive damages.
I have to laugh. I’m watching FF6 and I saw #ginacarano. An apology should be the least of it.
Did they fire Zeigler? I think they just canceled some planned productions. She’s a menace to Disney. Carano was fired from a fairly popular series over a re-tweet of an image. No added text or commentary by her at all. So many others get to rant without repercussions. They should admit fault, pay Carano, and put out a clear policy. As a business they can’t really afford to have all these lunatics running around on social media. I’m surprised their own PR people don’t shut them down. It’s bad for business and bad for careers.

Nope. You are an entertainer. THAT is your only stock in trade. If you mouth off in a manner that makes half the customer base dislike the sight of you, and dislike the employer, that goes right to the heart of your job performance.
This is about her job performance, actors can’t make the movie and then while it is being prepared for release, destroy the market for it.

Never. If a man doesn’t want to run the risk of being a parent, they breezily tell him to keep your pants zipped. Women are never told that. Somehow it’s assumed that only they have a right to a sex life, and to also have an escape hatch if they get pregnant. Men have to face it every time.
Gina Carano was one of the few females portraying a soldier who did so believably.
Don’t know her, but, then again. I don’t turn on the TV.
Gina Carano has a very successful lawsuit going on against Disney and she’s probably going to Win.
At this point an apology from Rachel Zegler is not going to help at all they have at least $500 million invested in the snow white picture picture and that’s before marketing costs. So for just a breakeven, they would need this movie to gross about $1.3 billion and it’s not going to happen.
