I support meritocracy because I want ship captains who don’t crash their ship into a reef and spill oil and other toxic chemicals into the ocean.
Supporters of DEI were so focused on giving the job to a lesbian that they neglected to care about the person’s qualifications or experience.

This article says that criticism of her is based on “sexism and homophobia.”
I can’t speak for other critics, but I myself am 100% completely and totally indifferent to the gender or the sexual orientation of a ship captain. The only thing that I care about is that they do their job properly.

Not me. If you are a woman, no thanks. And if you’re “gay,” I don’t want someone that disordered operating a piece of equipment of warfare of that magnitude.
I’m 100% completely and totally indifferent to the gender or the sexual orientation of a ship captain

Right.
Where’s the ship now?
Who put it there?
By the time you find out if they will do the job properly it’s too late.
I'm 100% completely and totally indifferent to the gender or the sexual orientation of a ship captain. ...God is 100 percent not indifferent, Dan.
I’m 100% completely and totally indifferent to the gender or the sexual orientation of a ship captain.

That is a very stupid and ignorant statement.
When a deviant gender or sexual orientation is elevated to a point where it puts lives in danger and sinks multimillion dollar ships to the bottom of the sea, then yes, it makes a difference whether they are queer or not.
> Where’s the ship now? Who put it there? <
A hero put it there. At least that’s according to the spin I read at a leftie website the other day. The lesbian captain is a hero because she got everyone off the ship safely.
If it weren’t for her, the entire crew probably would have drowned, dontcha know?
🙄
When a nation or culture subverts the meritocracy with DEI, it begins to rot and ultimately collapses.
unfortunately, there is a high correlation between perversion and incompetence.
Did she hand carry or drag all of them to the boats?
Until they come after you and force you.
Then you, Daniel Alman from Squirrel Hill, SHOULD care about the gender of your ship captain.
I wasn’t aware you could change countries and keep your old military rank in the new country.
I care. Homosexuality is a mental illness and the mentally ill have no place in positions of public trust.
I agree.
I saw these stories about the ship sinking and that it had a lesbian commander. But it didn’t sink because she was a woman.
It sank for some reason; did she make a mistake?
She wasn’t put in that position because she was the best person capable of doing the job.
She was hired because her sexual orientation.
Do you care now?
What a good perthon. Except women do have inferior spatial reasoning. So, ecumenical naivety aside, race and gender differences are real and important.
This captain wore her sexuality on her sleeve. Forced the crew to engage in gay dance parties. It was the reason for her promotion [NZ immigrant, joined NZ Navy as an older recruit, but achieved the rank of captain of 1 out of only 8 total ships in the fleet in only a few years, somehow]
She was captaining a SURVEY SHIP, outfitted with the best sonar to map the sea floor, and still ran aground.
Supposedly was mapping reefs and water was too shallow. Was there no alarm? Did the capt. decide to get too close? Didn’t the crew have tide charts? What was the sonar operator’s involvement? Was the capt on the bridge at the time? Or was she derelict in her duties, off duty, or was she watching kamala campaign rallies instead of being on bridge? No info on any of that, either.
So until there’s an evidence based cause identified, it is fair to assume because this person was made a captain for woke reasons, not on merit, her inexperience/incompetence is the most likely cause of the accident.
