I started spraying down my political yard signs with OC/MACE self defense spray several years ago when I could still get the MILSPEC clear stuff, not the red/UV dye kind.
Used to find the signs flipped off into the street before I started that, afterwards just dropped in the yard one time and it stopped entirely.
