ARE WE TOO DUMB TO SURVIVE?
Powerline ^ | 29 Sep 2024 | John Hinderaker

A society can reach a point where it is literally too stupid to survive. Are we getting close to that fatal juncture? Here is one of many thousands of data points: a judge in Indiana has ordered that state to pay for sex-change surgery on a convicted murderer.

Not just any murderer, but Jonathan Richardson, who is serving a 55-year sentence for strangling his own stepdaughter. He now goes by Autumn Cordellionè. The accent is a nice touch.

The inmate has sought sex reassignment surgery, including an orchiectomy and vaginoplasty, arguing it is the “only remedy” to treat “persistent gender dysphoria”.

The state of Indiana prohibits its prison service from funding gender reassignment surgeries for its inmates.

But the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) sued the Indiana Department of Corrections on Cordellionè’s behalf, arguing the state law violated the Eighth Amendment’s prohibition of “cruel and unusual punishment”.

***

A federal judge in Indiana has now agreed that denying the surgery would be unconstitutional.

...In any prior historical era, at any time and place, a man who strangled his own stepdaughter would have been executed. In today’s America, he is humored, given a name change, treated with hormones and other drugs, supplied with “panties, make-up, and form-fitting clothing,” and may be given a free sex change operation.

We can only hope that the taxpayers haven’t been forced to pay for Richardson’s tattoos:

The Answer is to Assess the Incomes, Tips, Wages and ASSETS of All Officers of the Court to pay for ALL Judicial Decisions that have a cost to the Taxpayers without Going through The proper Legislative body of Government beforehand.

(The inmate has sought sex reassignment surgery)

There is a determined effort to normalize this all over the world 🌏🌎🌍.
I am encouraging people not to attend nor support this stuff.

Just like those blindly following a false prophet
preaching a 'post-Christian' America

The apostasy and the Days of Lot are upon us.

As prophesied by Jesus Christ Himself.

Do NO harm, Christians, but reject this Godless Reprobate Agenda.
(For the thread)

We could have asked that question in the late 90s and early 2000s, when the free traitors sent our jobs, manufacturing, technology, money, and tax base to China, and many even at this forum supported it for the promise of cheaper toys.

Exactly right!

I’d say there’s hope yet for America.

“Yes, we can.”

"Yes."

"Next question?"

You nailed it. Without a moral core we will not survive.

The dirty secret is that surgery, as a treatment for gender dysphoria,
actually IS cruel and unusual punishment, and you can read about the
sad, sordid tales of a growing number of regret filled willing victims.

This is not dumb

It is evil.

We might be too evil to survive. However. God restrains the worst in us. Satan may run to the end of his leash but leashed he remains.

The governor of Indiana needs to send a letter to the federal judge proclaiming the state of Indiana will not enforce the judges order. Rationale:

1). The enumerated powers for the federal government under the constitution do to include requiring a state to provide any kind medical treatment for citizens of a state nor do they grant the federal government power over the states in administration of the prison system.

2). The 10th Amendment clearly states the federal government has only the enumerated powers in the Constitution.

3). The power of the federal courts to review state court decisions is not an enumerated power of the federal judiciary in the Constitution. That power has been incorrectly assumed by the federal judiciary through years of interpretations of what justices believe should be the law, not the words of the Constitution.

4). Requiring the state to pay for an elective medical procedure on a convicted criminal who is in a state prison is an unconstitutional tax on the citizens of the state. The Constitution does not give the federal judiciary the power to tax.

The federal court has overstepped its bounds under the Constitution. The state is adhering to the Constitution and state law.

It is long past time for the states to refuse to respond to the whims and arbitrary decrees of unelected federal judges who are not following the Constitution and the law.
