I agree. Even though itâÂÂs a big risk, he needs to have a second debate. Why couldnâÂÂt he be the same as when he talked to the Economic Forum of New York? He has trouble keeping a coherent thought, rambles, and goes on attacking Biden personally. Wasting time going at a lame duck and not Harris. He is never going to lose his core base, he needs to convince the undecided. IâÂÂm 100% percent for him at times, despite him. Please, please, please be more focused and controlled.
Saw some not all. Trump came off as rambling, missed a lot of chances to condemn her lies and the complicity of the media... the three lies of J6, Charlottesville, listed all at once would have been a great time to point at the media’s complicity and walk off the stage. Never to give them credibility again.
I disagree. Trump was the clear winner. Objectively, Trump was great on the issues. Thr moderators gave her assiats and while she scored points they were almost exclusively alley hoops off of the moderators. Trump was pushed back on his heals not by Comrade but by the framing of the questions. J6th, “truth”, “race”. About a solid 30mins of Trump bashing based on the question framing alone. The good thing there was that those questions came about 30mins or more in and Trump owned the entire first part of the debate. She had a lot of snarky faces and didn’t look at all professional. If she got the same debate Crooked Joe got it would have been the same result but she scored more points that Sleepy.
She had a B face and an annoying voice and I doubt that was lost in anyone.

Trump had to debate three people and they tag teamed the guy to try to rattle the guy and knock him off his game.
It worked to the extent that he was too task saturated to most effectively respond but he did well - especially under the fire he was taking from all sides.
That said, I think Kamala did more for herself simply by hanging in and melting down like she usually does.
She is very good at memorizing canned routines and regurgitating them on stage, even if they don't address the debate topic -which is exactly what she did

I like DeSantis. I think he’d be a great President. But we’ve got Trump. He’s probably not a great debater. But he’s a fighter, and he’s got guts. And people like him. I’m not sure DeSantis, Cruz, or Vance would engender those same feelings, despite being better wordsmiths. Maybe the common man looks at Trump and says, ‘hey, he talks like me’. Who knows? Trump did as well as he could do last night. He probably won. Why is Harris asking for a 2nd debate?
