The mood on the set of the Morning Joe show just a day before the big debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump is DEEP GLOOM. Special Kudos to Mourning Mika for bringing up a new term devised by the left namely "Sane Washed." They use that to describe when moderators or reporters ask President Trump normal questions about policy instead of constantly attacking him as a monster. This is described by them (and Mika) as "Sane Washing." I prefer to think of it as describing the sanity washed out of extreme TDS sufferers such as the Morning Shmoe Crew, especially Mika. "Sane Washed."

Do not believe this. They are playing us, lowering expectations, and setting up the stage to proclaim “The Prosecutor has vanquished the felon on the debate stage” tomorrow.
Harris’ plan for getting elected is based on several far-fetched premises:

<><>reinventing her radical past of indulgent affluence;
<><>suppressing her political climb using her oral sex skills;
<><>presenting herself as a moderate, working-class candidate;
<><>keeping quiet about her plans for Americans as president.
You are assuming "The Prosecutor" will be even be sober.
They got the memo to suppress expectations so that, on Wednesday, they can shout “exceeded expectations”.
That’s assuming the debate is even allowed to occur at this point.
If she ever was in the first place.

They try to lower expectations so she can easily clear the low bar and look like a champ for standing up to orange man bad. Standard media BS.
If Trump is given 60-90 seconds to answer a question his answer should be: “Why don’t you ask her?” She’s been AWOL and America deserves to know what she thinks. Give her some of his time.
“Weird” is the new woke. It is just another variation of enforcing the political correctness (right think) — which the new self-designated czar Tim Walz will be the final word. I guess that is what he brings to the table — as the “manly enforcer” the mainstream media is referring to.
That is the most damaging aspect of the “democratic” party — that they get to decide what can be thought (taught) and spoken as their exclusive First Amendment rights. No longer is it just the exclusive right of The (Exulted) Press (mainstream media) — or as they like to call themselves — the Fourth Estate as established by the First Amendment to rule over all. Funny, my version has that specific provision truncated/edited out.
Good to see that Trump and Vance are going to bat for the First Amendment rights as it is plainly written. Democrats should also embrace it rather than enforcing their “political correctness” as the only true God.

I actually agree with you to a point. They have been proclaiming for weeks now about how wonderful Kamala is. One would think they would be touting how she will be great in that debate.
This BS is to make a lackluster, but survived, debate performance into praise for Kamala afterward.
It’s deep gloom but joyous.and filled with hope.
No matter how badly she does, the MSM will declare her the winner and talk about Trump’s LIES!!!!
