A shocking Facebook post from a local Springfield community group has sparked alarm after a resident shared a disturbing exchange with her neighbor regarding the safety of pets and local wildlife.
The post, shared by a concerned resident, began with a stark warning: “Warning to all about our beloved pets & those around us!!!”
The resident recounted a disturbing exchange with her neighbor, who revealed that her daughter’s friend had tragically lost her pet cat. The concerned pet owner had searched tirelessly, checking online lost pet pages, local animal shelters, and asking neighbors if they had seen her missing feline.
However, the search ended in horror. According to the neighbor, one day, after returning home from work, she spotted her lost cat in a neighboring yard.
The disturbing detail? The cat was reportedly hanging from a tree branch, allegedly being carved for consumption. The residents of the home in question were identified as a Haitian family.
The original poster further claimed that similar incidents had been happening with other animals in the community, including dogs. The post also alleged that authorities, such as park rangers and local police, had reported similar acts involving ducks and geese in Snyder Park.

I wonder if that is french cuisine?
I was in France years ago back when it was pretty much normal, one thing I noticed is that they can take any trash fish and turned it into a gourmet meal. Those same fish in America are used for bait only, or ground up in the meal and put in the pet food. It was kind of disgusting actually.
I’ve seen video of their cannibalism....they’re used to eating anything.
Send them to cities with big rat infestations, things might improve.

They very well may solve the “stray dog problem”.
Keep your pets in your yard.
If you don’t, this can happen.
I would not accept this as truth without a photo and witnesses...who doesn’t have a cell phone with them these days with a camera to photograph stuff? Especially while going around looking for a lost animal? Even more so in a neighborhood with a bunch of strangers you haven’t met yet?
Are Democrats really more likely to be childless cat ladies?
Ladies, some of Deep State's imports are coming for your fur babies...
Vote accordingly.
Throw in a bunch of cannibals for democrat cities.
Hope they work on those damn Canadian Geese!
Ditto. Where is the proof? Even so, keep control of your cat. And your dog. I’m tolerant of so called lost pets to a point. But the ones that are turned loose every night or morning are about to become telephone photos.
Having a “there’s kitty litter in our school” hoax at our local screwl. Most of my church was ranting about how it was as true. Not a single person bothered to ask any of the teachers who go attend our church.
Back around 1992, I transferred to Bitburg, Germany. Local establishment (tavern) rented out a loft apartment to a couple of migrants from the Congo who were new arrivals in Germany.
One day...pub owner was in the basement and noted red-like liquid dripping down. Follows this to the loft. Here are four guys....built up a fire on a concrete floor....roasting some farmer’s sheep they’d caught the night before. Butchered it in the loft. Kicked them out by sun-down.
People just don’t realize new folks bring the old-world habits with them.
Since the article mentions police involvement, it should be simple enough to ask the local PD for copies of any and all info on reports involving animal abuse, say in the last year.
The local Chinese restaurants aren’t going to like this!

They’re getting to see firsthand how homo sapiens lived thousands of years ago.
And don’t even THINK about leaving your black dog out in HI. Black Dog Adobo ...
People like the John Wick movies. John Wick started his campaign after one puppy.
