Kamala Harris is caught in an electoral pincer movement along with her boss Joe Biden. What Harris and Biden do now are not going to be in the interest of the people of the United States. The pincer movement is represented by two parts: the Israel/Hamas conflict and the issue of reparations in California.
First, Hamas.
The murder of six hostages has caused a great uproar among the pro-Hamas and pro-Palestinian factions, especially in Michigan. Harris needs Michigan in the 2024 election. Protests have been taking place at the University of Michigan and elsewhere, demanding Biden force Israel into a ceasefire. There are a couple of issues to consider. Hamas is evil. Its charter calls for the complete destruction of Israel. If it really wanted a ceasefire, Hamas would be offering something of good faith- say a release of some hostages for nothing in return.
But it hasn't. Instead, Hamas claims to have executed the hostages as Israel got close.
The plotter of the October 7 massacre, Yahya Sinwar, is in no hurry to end the war.
The paper says Hamas wants a deal that is unambiguous and will not allow Israel to resume the war after the release of hostages — which Jerusalem has said it will indeed do.The Journal says that Hamas’s Gaza chief, in messages he has sent to Arab states’ mediators, has indicated that he “is in no hurry to end the war, believing that it is drawing Israel into a quagmire that is turning the country into an international pariah while reviving the Palestinian national cause.”
So, Biden is pressuring Netanyahu to accept a ceasefire. What Biden is not doing is pressuring Sinwar. Moreover, as part of the deal Sinwar seeks total immunity for his part of the October 7 massacre.
Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar wants a guarantee he won’t be assassinated by Israel included in a hostage and ceasefire deal, even as he sacrifices Palestinian civilians in Gaza, according to reports.All Sinwar has to do is let everything continue and let the useful idiots Biden and Harris act on his behalf. The sacrifice of Palestinian lives is unimportant to Sinwar. Biden is going to push Netanyahu to bow to Sinwar for the sake of the Muslim vote in Michigan and Hamas will be reconstituted.A senior Egyptian official told Ynet that Sinwar, the mastermind of Hamas’s Oct. 7 massacre across southern Israel, wants to be protected from the prospect of an Israeli assassination as a condition of agreeing to a deal that would return Israeli hostages who Hamas kidnapped on Oct. 7 and implement a ceasefire in Gaza.
“Sinwar insists on guarantees for his safety and life,” the official said.
The second half of the pincer movement is reparations. Gavin Newsom created a monster. Newsom was elected Governor in 2018 and under Newsom California formed a reparations task force in 2020. Reparations are estimated to cost California $800 billion. Currently the states is looking at a budget deficit of between 27 and 68 billion dollars.
After looking into the abyss, California got a whiff of ammonia and shelved a couple of reparations bills, which did not sit well with some.
Smokey Robinson once said "a taste of honey's worse than none at all." Activists, already tasting the money, have begun levying demands: cough it up or no Kamala vote.

I don’t think the Democrats have a majority in California, they have complete control over the electoral process. The final ballot totals in California are predetermined. They know today what the results of every statewide and national election in California will be.
If she is so badly trapped and failing, do her supporters know about this? Do they care? What material change will this trap have on her poll numbers?
