Military Can’t Ban All Americans With HIV From Joining
POZ.com ^ | August 22, 2024 | Laura Schmidt

Americans living with HIV who maintain an undetectable viral load can no longer be barred from enlisting in the U.S. Armed Services, a federal judge ruled this week, striking down the last remaining policy limiting enlistment for those with HIV.

The ruling came in Wilkins v. Austin, which was filed against the Department of Defense November 2022 by the LGBTQ advocacy group Lambda Legal; Peter Perkowski, Esq.; Scott A. Schoettes, Esq.; and Winston & Strawn LLP.

So, we now have a perverted, immoral and diseased military. What could go wrong?

--- "Americans living with HIV who maintain an undetectable viral load can no longer be barred from enlisting in the U.S. Armed Services, a federal judge ruled this week, striking down the last remaining policy limiting enlistment for those with HIV."

Another brilliant strategy by the "progressives," sure to LOWER FURTHER enlistment and retention rates.

Some very queer thinking these days....

The military falls under the Executive Branch of Government with the President of the US commander in chief.

It took an executive order by President Truman to integrate the military. I doubt a court in 1950 would even have thought they had the power to do such a thing.

Forcing the military to accept someone with a life threatening disease to enlist is the slippery slope a judge should not have the power to impose.

Now sometimes these cases are brought when both the plaintiff and the defense want the same result, so if there is no appeal we can assume someone high up wanted this ruling.

Due to the safety threat then I see another reason for military enrollment to drop.

This is biological warfare. The reasons that kept HIV infected people out of the military was tainting of the blood supply, spread of disease, oftentimes homosexuality and the medical support required for end-of-life type conditions that eventually killed the host.

There were international agreements and possibly treaties that did not allow people with aids to be sent overseas as a part of the military, to protect the nations where US soldiers were stationed or traveled.

Today, the people in charge of this country, and those who are supposed to protect the people, they allow the spread of the host/carrier of known diseases. The politicians should be held accountable for second degree murder and endangering the population. These people want other people dead.

The correct medical term would be asymptomatic, that is to say no visible symptoms.
But of course detectable with a simple blood test.

The point being they can still spread the disease and the visible symptoms will develop later.
And very expensive to treat. On Uncle Sugar's dime of course.

The sensible approach would be an HIV test as a routine part of the induction physical.
Also prohibit homosexuals from joining as was the case since forever until it wasn't any more.

If you are in a battle, are you supposed to bring your medication for HIV? And if you get wounded, bleeding on the battlefield, who in their right mind would carry you out of harms way?

After they poisoned the military ranks with the jab, which gave everyone that was jabbed VAIDS, they now conclude HIV/AIDS is no big deal.

And why does this judge think he has jurisdiction over military protocol?

Will his next ruling be on military strategy?

This is absolutely insane. I would’ve not joined the army if I knew this were the case back when I did join.

....imagine if you are a Navy Corpsman (...pronounced “Corpseman” according to our former president, Barry Soeotoro..) or an Army medic, and you are called upon to treat a wounded soldier/sailor/Marine, etc...are you going to risk your life if that person may have HIV...?

Now, this ruling will do wonders for recruiting!

Who wants to do deal with wounded soldiers on the battlefield with HIV?

The judge is a dunce.
