As my colleague Bonchie reported, Axios reporter Sara Fischer appeared on CNN to complain about former President and GOP nominee Donald Trump having an unfettered microphone with Elon Musk on X.
The Monday night conversation hails Trump's return to the X (formerly Twitter) platform where he was unceremoniously booted almost four years before, and it has the entire legacy media complex shook.

My Twitchy colleague PolitiBunny is quite correct. They despise the fact that they are on the outside looking in. You can hear the sarcasm dripping from Fischer's voice when she says, "Online fringe." This online fringe she dismisses represents a YUGE and probably untapped voting bloc.
The "edgelord influencers," make up a young and MALE segment of voters who have huge online followings, eschew TikTok, and promote alpha males. Trump and his VP running mate JD Vance have been speaking to these influencers and appearing on their podcasts and shows, so who knows how many have tuned in Monday night? So far, over 30 million people (and counting) have already plugged into Trump's X conversation with Musk.

This is an atmospheric river of liberal tears. 30 million views. This is Rush Limbaugh territory. Trump is speaking without the filter of the PMS media and they CAN'T STAND IT!
Two observations about the interview between the two most famous people in the world: Donald Trump and Elon Musk
1) Not a single mainstream media outlet wrote a story on a cyberattack of X interfering with largest Presidential interview ever.
2) This was one of the few…— Adam Paul Laxalt (@AdamLaxalt) August 13, 2024
He needs to update the delivery. His message is spot-on, and needn’t change, just the way he presents it. It has become a bit stale. Just my opinion.
When did CNN get 30 million viewers? Ever?
She said this on CNN...with its 20,000 viewers.
Here’s the President Trump - Elon Musk chat:

Really good to listen to. Some of the same ole, but a lot of new.
Right at the beginning, Musk (and Trump) DID characterize this as a conversation, not an “interview”.
Which I rather enjoyed. Trump wasn’t reading scripted responses. I am listening to it now, and I think he is doing brilliantly speaking extemporaneously.
Imagine this type of event done with any Democrat, never mind Harris or Biden.
Monday’s Trump/Musk conversation hails Trump’s brilliant return to Musk’s X (Twitter) platform (where he was unceremoniously booted almost four years ago, before Musk owned it), has the entire lefty legacy media complex all shook up.
They despise the fact that they are now on the outside looking in fearing what they cavalierly
dismiss to their detriment as the “Online fringe”.......a YUGE and probably untapped voting bloc.

What was great was, Musk no doubt orchestrated the resources to overcome the DDOS and ensure the success of his voice getting out.
Which no doubt made his enemies grit their teeth and scream in frustration.
Like this:
I think you are right about his presentation style. Very easy for those who are not ardent followers of his to tune out. Trump loves to hear himself talk. Many voters need a condensed summary of his message. They aren't getting that from the MSM. They're getting the DEM's viewpoint on Trump.
:: Trump loves to hear himself talk ::
Pretty slick how you slipped in that Biden-Harris talking point about Trump...comrade
“The legacy media is so focused on rebranding cackling Kamala Harris and running interference
for goofball Tim Walz that they cannot even recognize the brilliance of this pivot by Trump
<><>Musk’s platform isn’t working overtime to ignore, misrepresent, or drown out Trump’s message.
<><>Much to their chagrin, Trump’s X interview has blown a hole through the media propaganda wall
<><>Trump reached past them to voters that they had no idea existed.”

That girl is tetched
Ain’t that the truth!
I thought the face of the woman on the right side told the whole story… :-)
Oh, please. Trump is our guy, but he has his faults. One is that he’s made more than a few lousy appointments. Another is his ego: he’s very thin skinned and readily lends himself to squabbling that just isn’t worth it. And yes, his speaking style can be undisciplined, unfocused, and overlong.
Bush League talking points.
Golly, when Harris gets wind of these edgelord alpha male influence voters,
she’ll want to get in on it (like she did grabbing Trump’s tips tax).
Harris will probably strap on a dildo, get a crew cut, and mount her wickedly brutish
Harley Sportster, singing basso profoundo, “Wake Me up When November Ends.”
Among the coveted 18-49 audience, their viewership is negligible. You know what's not negligible and what is growing really fast even as the corporate media is dying? Independent Journalists/Commentators. Megyn Kelly, Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, Glen Greenwald, Jimmy Dore, Tim Pool, Dave Rubin, Patrick Bet David, Podcast of the Lotus Eaters (ie Carl Benjamin's outfit), etc etc. Not only is their audience already large and steadily growing it is also the under 50 demographic.
That's precisely what Trump is aiming at and that's what the Left/Deep State does not control. No wonder they're freaked out.
So no vote for YOU, Next! Kind of like a Vote Nazi…..
