What is the founding principle of the USA? I say it is freedom and liberty. I believe that freedom and liberty is what has led to being the most prosperous nation on the planet, with the most dominant military. I think if we continue to focus freedom and liberty then we will remain the global superpower.
Then why am I uneasy?
I fear that prosperity inevitably leads to weak times and weak men. At the height of their affluence Roman birth rates were under replacement level. Other modern affluent western nations have also seen their populations go below replacement levels. My focus right now is to figure out how we can be a freedom loving prosperous nation AND have a population capable of growing with or without immigrants. Do I really want to live in a nation that is a Darwinian dumpster fire? Or from a Godly perspective, do I want to live in a nation that doesn’t go forth and multiply.
Can birth rates be addressed and be a freedom loving nation?
I would love to hear solutions. I have my ideas. The main one is that we need more teen marriage and pregnancy. Teen marriage and pregnancy gets women out of the practice of over educating themselves and being in the workforce instead of the labor and delivery room. Removing government subsidies for this over education needs to happen. It is also noteworthy that most Americans are nauseated by my ideas.

Ukraine widows with 4 kids. If she has only 2 she can bring those of a relative. Mexicans are easy going and do the grunt work. We’re gonna need them. South Africans-the pale ones.
Next it’s mass deportations of those from s—t-hole countries that don’t adapt. Get draconian. Japan doesn’t seem to have that problem. They’re willing to be the bad guy like Trump and I’m sure JD Vance. Would 12 years do it?
That doesn’t address the low birth rate issue in the USA…I don’t want America to be a place for just the wealthy and childless. And I don’t want immigration to be the bandaid we put on our problem.

There was a reason why the Constitution at the time was perfect. Now it's for everybody. So we're more of a "democracy". Everybody can vote. So that will be our downfall.
We need more kids. Smart ones. How about a yearly math quiz in every country at a US consulate? Smart families get in when the kids are around age 16-18. That way the old country educates them and the embassy workers monitor the police records beforehand. The parents will be in prime working years(around age 40). Bring along an Aunt Bee or Uncle Charlie to babysit.
I’ve got a lonely old man buddy who can give his house away when he croaks. Any church can ‘adopt’ a family or two for support.
I think I am saying that our constitution was perfect, or close to it. I am saying that this led to our freedom-fueled prosperity. I am complaining about the impact of prosperity on our society…paradoxically it leads to birth rate decline.

Could we guarantee all families would have shelter, health care, and enough to eat? It starts with deporting the low-lifes and gutting the government. Throw in an acceptance of being poorer along with church help I mentioned. Take away the black sense of entitlement.
I received a mailing (donation solicitation) from Donald Trump yesterday. There was a list of 8 or 10 ideas, asking me to rank them as to whether I agree they are important issues. I was disappointed that, absent from the list, was anything related to education. I think there has to be a change, and it will likely take several generations, if even possible, to again promote mostly traditional family groups. While this does begin and become fostered in the home, I think that the public education system we have now (with so much emphasis on wokeism in many facets of structure, staffing, curriculum, etc.) needs to evolve back to a focus on basics, including character building among our youth. While people can sometimes opt to homeschool, and that can help their individual situation as to values to pass on to their children, it doesn’t really help the education system as a whole. I don’t know what the actual answer is, but these are just my thoughts.
I advocate for less of the corrupt education system, especially for females. I don’t know how to make that idea palatable to people.

Young girls are growing up in a world ,in which they are told they can be astronauts or anything else they want to be.
Many young people, both men and women ,just don’t see marriage and family as major life goals.
I have no answers but it certainly is interesting to think about.
