Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson launched a brutal attack on the U.S. government during his speech at a recent Bitcoin conference, accusing it of hypocrisy and secrecy.
Carlson highlighted the government’s stance on privacy and document classification before dropping the F-bomb over his views.
“With no privacy, there’s no freedom,” Carlson stated.

In context, Tucker Carlson’s use of the expletive is not nearly as bad as the Deep State’s disdain for the right of American citizens to be informed. Transparency is the first of many rights denied by the actions of the Federal, state and local governments in today’s social contract.
I admit I never thought I’d live to the day to see Liberals argue for censorship.
Yup—we old timers remember the leftist “Free Speech” movement in Berkeley.
Once they seized power they decided free speech was “disinformation” and “hate” and needed “guard rails”.
“The issue is never the issue. The revolution is the issue.”
Right on old man. Time to rumble.
“I admit I never thought I’d live to the day to see Liberals argue for censorship”
Censorship is horrendous and getting worse. Note of late, for example, Facebook denying photo of Trump after assassination attempt.

Agree about the necessity for personal privacy and public openness. I don’t agree Snowden is a hero (or Assange for that matter).
I was directly affected by the Walker spy ring case, and don’t like leakers of classified or sensitive material. Make the case up the chain for its declassification and public release. Otherwise quit your job.
The duty to protect classified and sensitive information is a lifetime requirement. Leaving a job or retiring does not relieve the burden.
I think it because we know how much the government lie, we kind of expect the worst when they hide stuff. It’s their fault. If they we’re open and explained why some documents cannot be declassified, then they have more support. They’re track record for lying is what makes people angry.
WOW!!!!
Great rant!
That is hilarious. Thanks for posting.
Since we’re on the subject of privacy and government, when are the American people going to see all of Epsteins client list unredacted and the tapes which he recorded and was never put into evidence when they were seized on Epsteins Pedo Island?
Ha, FNC has egg on their face.
You just put together into two clear sentences a bunch of amorphous thoughts I had on the same subject... the irony of the “free speech” movement turning into “cancel culture.”
Well said, and thank you.
