2 shooters, a government setup. The SS was in the building below Crooks.
I've seen reports that there were 2 other shots that just missed Trump. One by half an inch or less and a second shot that missed by an inch or two. When those missed and Trumped dropped down behind the podium, the assassin repositioned to get a better angle. That is when he exposed himself to the SS snipers. I guess we will find out what happened eventually.
There was only a single shot taken to get Crooks.

KEY! In the aerial view that I posted a few days ago it is obvious that both known counter sniper positions - placed right next to each other - had their view of the roof used by the shooter partially blocked by a tree.
Normally, in this sort of outdoor environment, the SS would deploy 4 - 6 counter sniper positions. Since this autocratic administration feels no need to explain anything to the peasants, no answers will be forthcoming and the crime scene is totally contaminated by the FBI; for example, the hosing off - with water? - of the shooter's roof position.

We have a perfect example of how totalitarian govts handle critical issues... plus their singular view of the danger of a figure like Donald Trump justifies any means to eliminate them and it is nobody's business. What's good for the govt is what is good for everyone.
This assassination attempt will enter the annals of conflicting conspiracy theory rumors - almost unavoidable now.
Hope his life insurance is paid up. The CIA botched this one. Was the SS in in only shooting Crooks and not the other shooter?

They’re killers. They still have the same problem they tried to solve with the murder of the top polling candidate for president. They’re not at all afraid of the aftermath as the attempt on Trump demonstrates. We’re all still just sitting at our keyboards here. There is nothing at all stopping them from, say, causing Trumps plane to fall out of the sky.

The microphone. Was the sounds you’re talking about taken thru the static podium mic? If so a difference in pitch might be meaningful. If take. Thru a hand held phone the changes can be due to movement, even slight movement.

Bongino said that was a false rumor. SS did not have anyone assigned for the roof at all; they did elect to surveil from inside the building.
I don’t doubt they would if they could.
It’s just that after they tried and failed I think the security will be better. I’d not be surprised to see Trump speaking behind a thick plexiglass screen for safety.
Also, the photo of Crooks with his head blown off is a deterrent to a lot of potential shooters. They can see they aren’t going to get away with it.

analysis l’ve seen of what Crooks was able to pull off at the Trump Rally in Butler, PA.
If I were a cartoonist, I would draw Crooks with his ladder and AR-15 meeting two security agents outside the roof top building.

If that literally didn’t happen, it’s pretty close to what did.
Dead already? That makes the videos of him crawling on the roof and the still shot of him shouldering and aiming the rifle rather hard to explain.

It is implied from behavior that he thought he was coming back home afterwards. That tells me he was told he had “help”. IOW that he would be covered, Either they told him that to bolster him or there really was someone else. It would not surprise me if someone passed while walking and spoke a code word to him even if that person then disappeared. I think most mass shooters have people encouraging them to do it.
I think it was an ACOG sight. Have they said how many rounds were left in the shooter’s clip?
