It was an amazing scene. The incompetent DEI Director of the Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, showed up at the Republican convention. Why? Maybe she thought she could face down her critics. Unfortunately for Cheatle that brave false front quickly crumbled under angry questioning from senators. As a result, Cheatle turned tail and flat out RAN away from the senators who were in hot pursuit. The pathetic scene of the Director of the Secret Service running in full panic while being flanked by guards brought back memories of a certain Johnny Horton stanza from a famous song which perfectly described her desperate skeedaddle under pressure.
PING!
As soon as I saw that name, Johnny Horton, I knew what it was!.....................
fill her head with cannon balls and powder her behind...
It reminded me more of this:
Brave Brave Ms Cheatle
Bravely ran away away.
(”I didn’t!”)
When danger reared it’s ugly head,
She bravely turned her tail and fled.
(”I never!”)
Yes, brave Ms Cheatle turned about
And gallantly she chickened out.
(”You’re lying!”)
Swiftly taking to her feet,
she beat a very brave retreat.
Bravest of the brave, Ms Cheatle!
Yeh, I got some satisfaction watching them run her off but it was shocking that she was unhinged enough to show up.
Why did she show up?
To gloat. To let the republicans know she is in charge, to let them know she allowed this to happen (if not outright planned it) to let them know they can’t do a thing about it and to remind them she still has time to finish her job.
I just can’t get over how erudite these freepers are.
Good show!
It was a silly power play by her that boomeranged horribly.
Who are the two short blonde-haired Republican Representatives (or Senators) who who “firmly” challenging this coward? Steve Scalise may be one of the Republican men speaking, but who are men and women “who dare ask these questions” - that the democrat party racist reporters refuse to ask?
Senators Marsha Blackburn and John Barrasso.
