I am watching CNN now and the chyron is saying attempted assassination.

seems like they killed an innocent attendee trying to assassinate Trump.

Screw CNN. We saw it with our own eyes! Multiple shots, Trump grabs his ear and then goes down on his own to avoid further danger. Bloodied ear and left side of face.

A former SS agent commenting on Newsmax stated he thought the SS actions at the Trump rally today were quite slow and clumsy compared to the way they’re supposed to be trained to react to this kind of thing. I’m paraphrasing, but that’s the gist of what he said.

Shooter was bear crawling across a roof, just outside the venue, with a rifle in his hands. Eyewitness and his friends were screaming at the police and Secret Service for 2 to 3 minutes.
No one did anything.”

Yeah that was how CNN reported it at the very beginning when no one knew much. As reports came in they continuously made updates and got on board. I had their site up in a browser window and hit refresh every so often.
Fox news has done just as badly...
They are reporting it, on screen, as a “rally incident”...
The FOX reporters uniformly talked about it as some noise which “may have been” gun shots or firecrackers...
But, my newsfeed still only says "shots fired."
