Does anyone understand that this section of the 25th has to be initiated by the vp and cabinet?..or people of whom law permits?
Then, Biden can simply inform the president pro temp of the he senate and speaker of the house that he can perform the duties of the potus.
Then, the prior have to reaffirm the above and then Congress has to act within 21 days and removal is only enacted after two thirds of each house votes for it.
Impeachment, voluntary resignation, or like one Democrat said on X, death, are the only viable avenues to removal at this point.
Now comes the question. Say they get him out. He sits down and pardons people...including himself..although he hasn’t been charged yet.
He has been removed for mental reasons..dementia. Are the documents legal? Then comes the question..how many past documents signed by him null and void?

I agree with you. All our enemies saw Thursday night, from China and Russia (who certainly knew) to Hamas, Iran, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, who may or may not have been certain of the degree of his dementia. But now they know. And they know that we know that they know. So it is a very dangerous time.
WHAT FOLLOWS IS A THOUGHT EXPERIMENT TO ILLUSTRATE A REAL PROBLEM WITH THE 25TH AMENDMENT, NOT A PREDICTION OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN.
The 25th Amendment, while crafted for this situation, is very poorly constructed and could easily put us in a true constitutional crisis, irrespective of the question of Kamala’s constitutional eligibility, based on her natural born citizen status. That issue aside, there are some real problems with it.
Keep in mind that if Kamala becomes Acting President under the 25th Amendment, she will remain as Vice President. She will not get to choose a new Vice President, as she would if Joe-Jill actually resigned and she became President, instead of just Acting President. Joe-Jill would remain President. He just would not be constitutionally able to execute the powers and duties of the office.
What would provoke a true constitutional crisis would be if, while Acting President, she died or resigned. The constitution does not specify what would happen then. The Speaker would not automatically become Acting President. The only way out of the crisis would be for Joe-Jill to be impeached and convicted, removing him from office, thus making the Speaker become President.
I suppose another option would be for Joe-Jill to write a letter to the Congress asserting that he is able to carry out his duties, thereby immediately re-assuming the office, and then resign, also making the Speaker become President. But how likely would that be, given that without a Vice President, the 25th Amendment couldn’t be invoked again.
Further, if the office of Vice President is vacant, the 25th Amendment cannot be invoked at all.

Will someone please bother to read the 25 Amendment. It effectively says the president can still refuse to leave. Roy is NOT helping the rodents here. If you look at what the rodents would have to do to bring a 25A it is easy to see it would make for a train wreck.
