Representative Chip Roy (R-Texas), who has previously endorsed Florida Governor Ron Desantis, is now seemingly attempting to undermine his own party by proposing a resolution urging Kamala Harris to initiate proceedings under the 25th Amendment to declare Joe Biden unfit for office.

That could be the more dangerous option strategically with regard to our foreign enemies, although one CANNOT say with any certainty Kamala Harris would be a preferable option even in the short term.
Maybe. I think we can ring the 25 th Amendment bell without unseating Biden. It does him no favors in the run-up to the election, and shines a spotlight on you-know-who as the likely POTUS, this time next year, should Biden/Harris “win.”
BTW, approval of a replacement vice-president for Harris would have to be approved by BOTH houses of Congress, which would put Republican Speaker Johnson both next in line and with a veto over her replacement.
Might be good strategy. Put Kamila in the WH before they can swap Biden for any other more electable candidate.

I honestly believe that he was incapable the day the he entered office. In this case it is irrelevant because he was never the one making presidential decisions. He is just the puppet face.
Maybe a blessing in disguise. Republicans will have the strongest mandate if they win on the issues, i.e., on how the left is wrecking America, rather than on ballot eligibility or Biden’s dementia. Not easy for Republicans, but they need to learn.

Chip Roy is a moron. The 25th Amendment was never designed for the removal of a president against his will due to incompetence or incapacity. It is designed to be used in the event of a medical emergency or wartime scenario where the president is temporarily incapacitated or out of contact.
Perhaps this dim bulb isn’t aware that the threshold in Congress for declaring a president unfit for office under the 25th Amendment is higher than the threshold for simply impeaching and removing him.
You don’t think there’s a prayer that Harris acts on the word of Chip Roy, do you?
I was giving the benefit of the doubt. Chances are he’s been gone, or more or less that way, since at least the end of his Vice Presidency.
